This ice bucket challenge started trending way before Korea and a lot of people participated in their own way.... help raise awareness in the cause for Lou Gehrig illness , there is nothing wrong with accepting the challenge, getting doused with ice bucket of water, and hopefully donating also to the cause and then choosing 3 more to participate.

By posting in you tube the deed is also a way of raising awareness of the cause and hopefully people will help and bring smiles to others including the Lou Gehrig patients and their families.

Having said that, there maybe a few who maybe offended watching the laughs, enduring the pain of really cold water splashing on them...

The point of the challenge is to raise awareness, it does not matter if people don't know the issue initially. The good thing is we are finding out about it along with what is this cause... about Lou Gehrig disease.
