CNBLUE came for the second time during the K-Pop concert here last year, they were so well received by fans and foreign reporters.

Jung Yong Hwa came to Hong Kong again last November filming “Running Man”, many fans are following him in every places he went. He is so cute when he sang with the others,singing the song of Leslie Cheung the famous late singer in Hong Kong, it’s in Chinese.

Last Jan 8 and 9, CNBLUE had a two night’s concert in Hong Kong. I went to see the first night show it’s a very cold weather outside but inside’s atmosphere is hot. Before we can go inside the arena, the security check all our belongings, because cameras are not allowed inside. When we come inside I saw the stage had a white cloth covering the bands instrument. At around 8:15 the cloth was removed and the stage was dark. Then the band came out, fans were holding blue light sticks, everyone is shouting, including me because I can’t stop myself.

Park Shin Hye recently signed a contract with Japanese entertainment company IMX.

IMX has led many Korean top stars to become successful in Japan, including, Bae Yong Joon, Lee Jun Ki, Lee Min Ho, So Ji Sub, Son Ye Jin, Ahn Jae Wook, ZE:A, and more.

They are servicing Korean TV series on the internet for the first time in Japan and are well known for promoting Hallyu business.

A spokesperson for Park’s agency says, “We decided to sign a contract with IMX since Park became very popular in Japan.”

A spokesperson for IMX says, “Japanese people love Park very much. She is very beautiful and a talented actress. She is also good at singing and dancing. She will become a queen of Hallyu.”

Park went to Japan on October 13 and gave several interviews with Japanese magazines.

A.N.Jell bandmates of 2009’s hit drama “You’re Beautiful” Lee Hong Ki and Park Shin Hye continue to show their friendship through exchanges of light-hearted and encouraging messages on Twitter. 

“Shin Hye, I’ve kept my promise!” Lee tweeted. Lee said he had visited the “Heartstrings” filming site and noted, "Everybody was working hard." Park had earlier mentioned that Lee promised to visit the set of the drama she is currently starring with yet another A.N.Jell bandmate Jung Yong Hwa. 

“Please be successful,” he added. Lee made mention of senior staff members he saw on the visit, some of whom he had worked with in previous dramas, including “You’re Beautiful.”

“Sparkling Hongstar visited despite the late hour. Thank you!” Park wrote, uploading a photo of a snack. She added that she was sad the meeting was brief and is touched with the gesture of friendship. She also issued an invitation to go bowling after she wraps the drama and indicated that she will return the favour by going to Lee’s band FT Island concerts.

In the episode of MBC's  Section TV  that airs July 31, two stars leading Korean Wave in Japa, Taiwan, Jang Keun Suk and Park Shin Hye appeared.

The interview went smoothly as Jang and Park are known to be bestfriends. The reporter from Secion TV  slipped a comment , We hear that Jang's mother likes you..."         

Park replied, "Jang's mother does really like me. When I met her for the first time, she grabbed my hand and said she want me to be her daughter-in-law."

This year Chinese Dragon Boat Festival falls on the 6th of June 2011, Monday, that's the 5th day of the 5th moon (Chinese lunar calendar). A significant holiday celebrated not only here in Hong Kong, also in China. The merrymaking continues with Hong Kong popular Dragon Boat Festival also known as "Tuen Ng Festival" is celebrated every year by a day races in narrow boats shaped like dragons. Competing teams row their boats in synchronize  with furious rhythm pounded by on board drummers.

This regatta commemorates the death of Qu Yuan who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a river. Qu Yuan was a minister in the kingdom of Chu situated in present day Hunan and Hubei provinces during the Warring States period (475 - 221 BC). He was upright, loyal and highly esteemed for his wise counsel that had brought peace and prosperity to the kingdom. However, when dishonest and corrupt Prince vilified, Qu Yuan was discgraced and dismissed from the office. Realizing that the country was now in the hands of evil and corrupt official, Qu Yuan clasped a large stone and leaped into the Milo river on the fifth day of the fifth moon. Nearby fishermen rushed to save him but they failed and his body was never  recovered. Thereafter, the kingdom devlined and was eventually conquered.

According to one legend, the people of Chu mourning the death of Qu Yuan, threw rice into the river to feed his hungry ghost every year on the fifth day of the fifth moon. The practice continues this day throughout China. The Dragon Boat races symbolize the frantic attempts to rescue Qu Yuan.

 The real highlight of the festival  is the fierce Dragon Boats racing in a lively vibrant spectacle.  Teams race the elaborately dragon boats to the beats of the heavy drums. The special boats, which measure more than 10 metres, have ornately carved and painted "dragon" heads and tails, and each carries a crew of 20-22 paddlers.
