The second season, Book Two, will consist of 14 episodes. According to the series' creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, about half will take place in Republic City and half in other areas of the world. As of June 2012, Book Two's writing had been completed and the season was in the process of being storyboarded and animated. No broadcast date has been announced.
