I know this was said like back in 2009, but if that is not a clue/indication, I don't know what. You are exactly right. When JKS talks about ShinHye, rumor exists and these rumors sometimes can cause negative impact to Shinhye.

Why negative rumor exists ? Well most of these are from the anti-fans. They love JKS and they only want him all to themselves.
Why only happens to our princess Park Shin Hye? Well because the anti-fans like us saw how JKS is a totally different person when with Shinhye. They all know JKS likes her very very much and it is his perfect match and has a very special relationship with her and to top it up his mom likes her alot as well.

All these cause anti-fans to react.

Therefore, this may results that Shinhye and Sukkie didn't wanted to tweet each other in the public. They don't want people know their interactions so much.
