So Yonghwa was offered the role of Young Do? I always thought it's a different role. I thought KES made Young Do specially for Woobin? That's what i read anyway. Or did KES alter the second lead's personality based on who's playing it? For example if it's Yonghwa the role is less bad-ass but for Woobin it's a more bad-ass role?

Yonghwa is a really charismatic musician but i'm glad he turned Young Do down. Woobin made the character his, and i cannot imagine anyone else pulling Young Do the way he did. He even managed to make his screen presence at par with Minho which i think Yonghwa will have a hard time doing

Don't get me wrong. I like YH. He is charismatic and charming guy but KWB is Yong Do. He gave his best performance for making us believe that he was indeed Yong Do. He gave almost equal acting quality as LMH. That's why I do love this serial because the hero and his rival are equally loved by me

Everything happen for a reasons. I still remember how happy I am knowing Yonghwa join Heirs from Nate last year.. (myb bcz im YongShin's shipper) but then, I got so frustated when he stepped out from Heirs...

and now, I'm super glad that he turned down the offer.. kekeke. Im ok if he is 'ChanYoung' but not YoungDo.. YoungDo is only for Woobin; a strong rival for Tan..

Sis Yunihz, yeah YoungDo is a strong rival for Tan. YoungDo is not the typical 2nd lead who loves the heroine from afar and just be in her shadows. He pursues her in his own way. And Woobin's screen presence and acting skill is as good as Minho.

Funny, i was also imagining Yonghwa being offered the role of ChanYoung. But that'll be like another version of ShinWoo from YAB.

Here's my take on this...we all knew of course that YH was given a part for Heirs but i didn't know per se that it was going to be YongDo's character...i actually thought he will play EunSang's bestfriend ChangMin whose role of course went to his bandmate MinHyuk...

then again, since I'm biased and really love Heirs, i don't think anyone could have played KimTan and YongDo and EunSang any better than LMH, KWB and PSH...hands down....

they all did a tremendous job for portraying their role...and yes, YD, is a better actor than YH, it's in his forte (don't get me wrong, I love YH and I love CNBlue, but he definitely needs more time to cultivate his acting prowess, and he is of course first and foremost an idol, singer, songwriter and he's great at that)

I just terribly miss MINHYE and i'm mad as to why they wouldn't get this pair to pose for a magshoot for their promotional cover for Heirs in Japan and Taiwan!!! wheyo????

sis almontel, i'm done asking those WHY?WHY?WHY? questions when it comes to seeing MinHye together again in a new poster, CF or anything. I'm numb already...

And yes, Heirs wouldn't be as successful if not for Minho, Shinhye and Woobin. These 3 shines more than the drama itself. I like it's script (i thought the dialogue was deep if u really look into it's meaning) but the drama has its flaws too. It wasn't solid like other dramas but those 3 Stars made it successful

I agree, Woobin owned YoungDo. I don't think Yonghwa couldve handle that kind of intensity and raw power when
Woobin could do it effortlessly, just look at his facial expression hehehe.
I had a feeling the role that was offered to him was Hyo-shin.
