Yes you can.

Go to My Profile and then under Forum Settings, click Look and Layout.

You'll see Preferred Message Ordering* and just choose Last post first. And then Submit.

i've been trying to upload a new avatar, but whenever i delete my current avatar and try to upload a new pic, my previous avatar keep showing up. it won't let me upload a new one. can someone help me T.T

yozo, perhaps your new avatar is too big? Try changing the size and uploading it again to see if that works.
