Park Shin Hye Named as the New “Nation’s Little Sister”

Actress Park Shin Hye was chosen as the nation’s little sister.

On MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment Relay,” which was broadcasted on March 9, the “nation’s” celebrity father, mother, older brother, older sister, and little sister was chosen though the show’s segment titled “Sunday Section.”

On the show Park Shin Hye was unanimously chosen as the “nation’s little sister.”

The actress was chosen on the basis of having a pretty face with good acting skills as well as a kind personality. She was also picked for having many other talents besides acting including singing and dancing.

Another reason for Park Shin Hye being chosen was that she is a “natural beauty” whose beauty hasn’t changed since her debut.

Previous stars to be affectionately named “nation’s little sister” by the public were actress Moon Geun Young and figure-skater Kim Yuna.

My Note: It's great to see more and more people recognizing Shinhye as an artist and a person too. She has been acknowledged as an entertainer who is multitalented along with being a wonderful human being. Keeping in mind the previous title holders one can safely assume that this title is not just given lightly to anyone but those who are loved and held in high esteem by all Koreans. In my biased opinion, she can hold best loved person title too.
She is truly a great role model. I wonder if in future she will go on to become the Nation's older sister and then the mother too?

Congratulations. Park Shin Hye is named as the "nation’s little sister" from the MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment Relay,” broadcasted on March 9.

The actress was chosen from a number of reasons.... aside from being a "natural beauty", she is good acting-wise, and with a kind personality. She has been, through the years, doing charity works. She was also chosen for having many other talents besides acting, including singing and dancing.

Previous celebrities who were affectionately called or referred to as the “nation’s little sister” were actress Moon Geun Young and figure-skater Kim Yuna.
