Lee Jong Suk Shines with Confidence in New “Pinocchio” Stills



The latest stills of SBS’ new Wednesday-Thursday drama, “Pinocchio,” featuring actor Lee Jong Suk have been revealed.

In the stills, Choi Dal Po (Lee Jong Suk) is looking confident and charismatic while taking part in a quiz show. As if challenging his opponent, he seems to be calling someone, and his intense stare proves how focused he is in the game. The final still shows Choi Dal Po clapping his hands with a satisfied smile on his face, raising questions about the details of the scene.

The producers revealed, “The result of Lee Jong Suk’s quiz show appearance will be presented in the first two episodes. The reverse charm of Lee Jong Suk, who has both a serious and a comical side to him, will shine through in the episodes.”

Meanwhile, “Pinocchio” starring Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye will premiere on November 12 at 10 p.m.

I am both nervous and excited at the much anticipated showing of Pinocchio. Fighting!

I know how you feel @nu2me!!! Im actually translating some knetz comments on every article that I could find to see if their reactions are good or bad. Im so nervous here! Since it has been rough for the last drama that was aired on the same timeslot. Im just hoping that the whole crew of Pinocchio is not under too much pressure.

You are so right @irene.... With all the activities and pictures shown to us lately it's been accelerating my hopes for a good start..... somehow that gauges how the audience will get interested and watch Pinocchio. We have a strong all around casts, writer and PD.

But there are competition too, hope they switch to Pinocchio starting on November 12.
Fighting! If the ratings can include international fan base. that would be daebak !

You're right @nu2me. If only they could have an official streaming sites and include the ratings!!

I just figured that there's a need of a director for a cameo role in Pinocchio because Choi Inha will be imagining if she could be an actress but itll turn out that she cant be an actress because of course she cant lie and she cant deliver her lines well.
The preview showing us Choi Inha as a lawyer is really funny. Im sure that imagination scene with the director will be equally funny.
Just how many other profession will Choi Inha imagine before she makes up her mind to be a reporter?

I thought that at some point a weakness in this drama could turn out to be a strength. I think newsroom theme drama doesnt usually succed because when we first heard something about news, first thing that comes into our minds are they're too boring. Since, this drama has a great writer and PD combination they could turn this boring thought into really interesting story. That is what they are giving to us from the start. We dont actually cared that this drama is going to be on a fieldwork concerning reporters. What attracted us is the two reporters with different perceptions about how important the truth is. This story must be new to most of kdrama fans. Making us get-hooked to this drama.

Im really hoping that my words will turn out right.

It will be a triump if Pinochio's rating will be as high as Heirs but for me it doesn't matter, because for me all Shing Hyes film are all high rated dramas I just love all her dramas .. it is pleasure to watch her films . This is a fan from Europe . When is she ever coming here?
