  My Note Hullo everyone! How is everyone doing? D-Day is here! Everyone is excited and eagerly awaiting 10:00pm KST.....that's no brainer! We all have been waiting to see Shinhye for so long. Besides wishing her getting rave reviews and the drama high ratings .....we all have individual reasons for looking forward to watching Doctors too......for me besides those related to Shinhye there are some more.... 1: The OTP.....Even though I admired KRW from before but never imagined that he and Shinhye would look so right together from their very first picture released to the various BTS, trailers, interviews and interactions......to the extent that they seem to be successfully uppermost in my thoughts at this moment among all her previous pairings ..........and that's saying a lot Since I still love those a lot and will continue to do so.......so, yes.....cannot wait to see the promise of a magical OTP being fulfilled in the coming weeks. 2: The story itself.....love the premise of all characters growing through the events in their lives.....their struggles, the weaknesses , the strengths, their relationships, interactions etc....Also the social issues raised during the unfolding of the story......All are bound to lift the drama from being just a typical light romance (as some envision it to be ) to one with multi layered depth. I am hoping that the constant message of positivity would exist despite the upheavals and will also be the end game. This triumph of human strength and courage over life's trials and tribulations ........is what's I am hoping for and what's going to lift this drama from ordinary to extraordinary......for me. 3: Interesting characters....... There does not seem to be any weak link anywhere . All the characters seem to be worth watching. The fact that the smallest to the most important ones have been chosen to be played by actors of caliber (Yoon Kyun Sang, LeeSung Kyun, Ji Soo, KMS, Kim Young Ae, Jang Hyun Sung etc) , makes me want to applaud and almost hug those responsible for their selection. 4: Visually entertaining and well executed production.....from the innumerable goodies seen .....I feel very optimistic and find myself trusting and having faith that we will see it happening under the helm of the director/ writer. 5: Female-centric K-drama.......excites me beyond belief not only because my bias is an actress but also due to the fact that very few dramas are seen showing women interesting worthy subject matter......that they can impact lives in positive manner, that they can and are great role models.....no less than any man. 6: Good musical score.......always felt it extremely important in enhancing the drama watching experience of the lightest most mundane to the darkest portrayals and moments. It seems to be in place from what little we have seen until now. So so you can see why I am so hyped up and eager to watch ? I wonder and am curious as to what each of you are anticipating as you await airing of Doctors..... Finally , a big shout out to Doctors teams in the coming weeks......Doctors Ohoy! Fighting ! .....We the patients have full faith in your abilities... Also, praying for a greatest ratings of any time slot ............... |
