I think no one really cares too much about celebrities in the USA nowadays. Pro athletes seem to get more attention with their injuries as headline news. And none of my friends care about who won American Idol. In fact, there's no one I really know at my college who even watched it although it was a headliner.

And I guess that's why I'm so curious about PSH & JKS. They are very secretive and that makes it interesting for me as a GeunShipper. I do love how JKS shares his public image with us but closes the doors when it comes to his family and the woman he loves. What a guy! And I love how he can be so BOLD as a westerner but knows when to draw the line too.

And as for Park Shin Hye, she has qualities I would like to emulate most notably her graciousness. She's CLASSY! She is the female film celebrity who is the most influential to me.
I hope this thread will continue to go on long after GeunShin is official. Then we could start guessing what their couple song will be, who the groom and maid of honor will be, names of their children, etc... That would so great!

Hello Everyone! I am hoping everyone is well and is enjoying their weekend! Here in America it is a holiday weekend so most will have Monday off from work – it will be a nice relaxing three-day weekend for me & we plan on grilling some chicken and eating outside on the porch

First off it seems that BB, LHK and other’s “Let’s Ride” tweets also included PSH – haha! I won’t quote the tweets because her tweet is in the Twitter section in this site but she tweeted a picture of her by the river - most likely the Han River which is just a few blocks from her home and said “start riding” which means the same as “let’s ride” – it is nice to see her out doing what she loves to do – and in keeping with the group’s pattern the picture is at night where they all won’t be spotted easily

If I missed anyone in replying to everyone's posts please let me know - I did not mean to leave you out!

Summer is here and with all events that will be soon occurring with both JKS and PSH let's all put on our Shipper Investigation hats and look forward to many spazzing moments both in their careers and in their private life! I have a feeling its going to be a great summer!!!

@Wisheart – We used to see more of both PSH and JKS pictures of their parents and family members along with sometimes comments from their parents. As they have become more famous, they have become more careful in what pictures are released of their family and private moments. Sukkie’s parents no longer comment or give interviews and PSH parents are also now silent – this is a wise move that allows them to maintain more privacy. So whenever they allow a picture to be released it is a rare event and when you couple that with Sukkie commenting directly to the picture – as Shippers we need to take notice that it is a special rare event that most likely means something ….and of course this last picture is the perfect example …

Nurturing a plant is the perfect comparison in how we should view their relationship! I completely understood what you were trying to say – I think that everyone that takes their private romantic relationship seriously does the exact same thing!

@yeonin1205 – Little Sis – you have me laughing and rolling again! Your parents aren’t too old I hope! But then again, we probably would seem old to you! You always have this way of making me smile and laugh – here in the threads or in Twitter – and I thank you so much for that! Laughter is the best medicine! When it is time for you to start cooking I am sure you will do just fine!

@Keila – it is hard for most to comprehend how Koreans view celebrities and what lengths celebrities go to to hide their private relationships, especially from an American or European POV where nothing is hidden and often, like you have said there is too much information revealed about our celebrities.

Like you, I also have come to like our couple and several other Asian celebrities because they are more conservative and value-oriented. There is not a single celebrity in America that I really admire- though I do like the witticism of Robert Downey Jr. – he is a great orator- they are too jaded and hardly ever display the values that I see in their Asian counterparts. I also do not watch American television on a regular basis– reality shows like American Idol have contributed to the downfall of American television and the glorification of celebrities who think anything and everything about them can be revealed- I think a bit of discretion is very much needed – but I know I am in the minority!

Although, I did read an article about American-based DramaFever where they have revealed that surprisingly over 80% of their paying viewership (I am one!) is non-Asian Americans that watch KDrama because it is better than American television and is seen as promoting family values – one can hope that other stations might one day notice ….

I think part of the fun with our couple is waiting for what they will do and say next - you never know what will be announced directly or indirectly and it is absolutely fascinating to watch them continue to interact with each other as they have over the last few years – watching them become even more close as time goes on despite them working on various projects and spending great amounts of time apart – I really love how they always keep finding ways to symbolically let everyone know they are a close couple and share many interests continuing to interact in ways that lets those that pay attention know they are in close constant contact with each other...

And never fear – I am positive that this thread will continue long after all is publicly revealed – they are amazing artists and I am thinking that as they get older we will continue to see amazing performances from them! Not to mention private milestones such as a formal wedding ceremony and having children...and I am sure they will continue to do many good works of charity – maybe one day they will do those together…I think their story has just begun and I cannot wait for the next chapter!

When I saw Shin Hye twitt about riding, I just remember what you wrote that BB just twitt LHK about riding. So I thought, could it be another certain guy with her? Went to a school pub and riding a bike? It was so romantic.

@Knittgrrl I totally agree with you on Asian entertainers and celebrities, not that I dislike the Westerns, but most Asian celebrities are so wholesome that it awes me! I've noticed how they value so much about respect, especially to the elders (which I think is a necessary practice to everyone). Concerning the future of our thread once our couple discloses their relationship, I hope as well that all of us supporters will keep in touch and have discussions like these. I'm new to this thing but I really enjoy investigating, thinking and making theories about our couple. It just spices up my virtual life.

Back to our GeunShin lovin', it seems PSH was quiet in Twitter and so was JKS. Although JKS tweets from time to time in a day, it's not his usual, when he actually tweets at any random hour. I think I've seen the pattern when JKS and PSH tweets. Their time intervals convince me that they're talking to each other or something And I noticed how LHK and BB are in a good mood nowadays, just like our PSH and JKS. I'm just happy that everyone's happy!

I believe GeunShin shippers should just stay in the GeunShin thread, and YongShin shippers in their thread. Ideally the ships we support are not for us to take so personally and just enjoy the company of our fellow shippers. None of us should even be posting at the 'other' camp. You can risk lurking on the other thread, but keep your mouth shut because you don't even belong there and you're invading the group's peace. Each thread is a home so whatever is said there should be respected. We are entitled to our own opinions but these opinions of ours must be placed appropriately. In our case, whatever that is biased to GeunShin must stay in the GS thread, and whatever that is biased to YongShin must stay in the YongShin thread. I say this to every GS & YS shipper out there to avoid instances like this. :-)
