It is the church scene and how the character is in awe of the architecture and feels a sense of calmness and reverence as he consciously imprint the surroundings to his memory. Sumner said that the church is the climatic stop in the character's journey toward the woman. He explained that if we look in the beginning, the character was very self absorbed. The woman is the GIVING character. She let him go but not without letting him know first what inspired her (her art and illustrations are probably based on how HE inspired her) The woman was teaching him to find something greater than himself. And the character finds this through her. It may also mean that he had to find this in order for him to have her heart. Or for her to receive his heart. The film is a great love story. It's how the two have inspired one another not just in their works but outside of themselves. On a lighter note, I'd like to think they have many romantic clandestine moments together. GEUNSHIN is my favorite love story! Random comments from my other friends who viewed it: "He's afraid of completely losing her. She's his soulmate" "She is a patient woman and knows him better than he knows himself" "His love for her is the story and his willingness to adapt with her" "She won't be his until he changes a few things about himself" "She is the reason for his everything" "He is learning to stop and enjoy the happiness" Whew! Sumner had a LOT of notes and some that I didn't even understand. Something about geometric film photography and about layers and that Budapest has those kind of structures to film????? I didn't include his technical notes. Sorry about the separate posts. This computer kept freezing up and I didn't want to lose what I already wrote. I hope this helped Sis Humilis. My POV: I see GeunShin all over this film They may have had many disagreements in the beginning. The fact that they are both actors and how staying in character can affect their reality. For example, rumors about costars and other celebs can lead to adversity. Many missed moments because of their schedules. Having to let each other go for the sake of putting 100% in their projects. Having the maturity to see each other's perspective. Suk's desire for freedom from public scrutiny and Shin Hye's faith to keep it all together. That's like 16 episodes ( atleast 1 hr per episode) full of sh and jks compared to a movie that only last 2 1/2 hrs. |

I hope there will be a lot spazzy moments for us and would be even much better if they are to announce to the world that they are dating. I'm sure the forum would be very busy after the 26th. JKS: Today you are beautiful rather than cute. Then he talked about their scandal in Japan and said maybe two shots was too much? He was talking about two shots that both of them took when they gone out in Japan and how it resulted in a scandal ( this created a lot of antis before , I think sukkie was testing the waters and sending a massage at the same time to anits) I didn't expect a confession , and I was happy with what I've got. Shin-hye performed solo and sukkie said he wanted to travel with her and he said how beautiful she is. Sukkie never cease to please me. |
