Lee Jong Suk Talks “Reply 1988” and Struggles in Acting With High Cut Magazine

Actor Lee Jong Suk revealed a pictorial for High Cut magazine showing off his pretty boy good looks and more mature self. He is seen dressed in various outfits ranging from comfortable casual T-shirt to dressy suits striking perfect poses as a model. He looks as if he walked right out of a romantic comic book with his delicate features and long arms and legs.





In the interview conducted during the photo shoot, Lee Jong Suk opened up about some of the issues he faces as an actor. He commented, “When I critique my own work, I feel like I’m always portraying a boy. I’m wrestling over how I can come across more masculine in my acting. An actor’s looks has a lot to do with the image he exudes. I’m envious of actors who have more masculine aura.”





His last work was SBS’s drama “Pinocchio” which ended last January. He hasn’t been acting since then leaving lots of his fans waiting to see him in a new project. Lee Jong Suk added, “I felt empty as my downtime away from acting prolonged. I’ll work hard like an ox. I promised myself that I’d act in at least three projects this year.”





Recently, Lee Jong Suk was asked about tvN’s “Reply 1988” during a fan signing session in China. His reply, “Love Taek,” gained spotlight online. About that, he responded with a smile, “Taek’s character in the drama is very attractive. I like Taek.”

Lee Jong Suk to unveil his own wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong

Actor Lee Jong Suk will appear at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong tomorrow (January 22nd), where he will have the opportunity to unveil his own wax figure in person.

Madame Tussauds is a famous wax museum based mainly in London, England, with branches in a number of major cities around the world, where one can view wax figure exhibits of historical and royal figures, film stars, sports stars and famous murderers.

Following the unveiling, Lee Jong Suk’s wax figure will be displayed alongside world-renowned figures like U.S. President Barack Obama, actresses Angelina Jolie and Audrey Hepburn, singer Lady Gaga, Hong Kong actors Jackie Chan, Andy Lau, Bae Yong Joon, Kim Soo Hyun, and many others, at the Madame Tussauds Hong Kong museum.

Lee Jong Suk had his body measurements taken by a team of British experts and staff members for nearly 7 hours last October, and it even went down to choosing the eyeballs and the hair color that suits him best, so that a perfect wax figure can be created.

A Madame Tussauds Hong Kong staff said, “Lee Jong Suk’s popularity reaches beyond Korea, and he is really popular in the whole of Asia. We’re honored to have his wax figure in our museum.”

Meanwhile, Lee Jong Suk is currently filming ‘Jade Lover.’
