‘Remember’ starts off with 7.2 percent rating to finish second

Brand new SBS TV Wed-Thu drama ‘Remember’ premiered on December 9th, and finished second against competing dramas with a television rating of 7.2 percent.

‘Remember’ is led by Yoo Seung Ho, Park Min Young, Nam Goong Min, Park Sung Woong, Jeon Kwang Ryul, and others, and tells the story of a genius lawyer Seo Jin Woo (Yoo Seung Ho) who becomes a lawyer to try and clear the name of his father who is accused of murder, and fights valiantly against those in power.

Meanwhile, competing dramas like KBS 2TV ‘The Merchant: Gaekju 2015’ and MBC TV ‘Sweet, Savage Family’ scored 11.6 and 7.0 percent respectively.

"Remember” Premiere Week’s Viewer Ratings Signal Upward Trend

According to the AGB Nielsen (South Korea) Media Research report from December 11, the drama “Remember” scored 9.7 percent on December 10.

That’s 2.5 percent higher than the first episode which aired on December 9 (7.2 percent) and it ranked second among its Wednesday-Thursday competitors airing at the same time slot. With its swift storyline, “Remember” closed the gap with the first place ranked drama “The Merchant: Gaekju 2015” which scored 11.4 percent.

On the second episode of “Remember,” Seo Jin Woo (Yoo Seung Ho) decided to join the illegal gambling house in order to make money to hire a lawyer for his father Seo Jae Hyuk (Jun Kwang Ryul) who is accused of committing murder.

Seo Jin Woo gets his hands on an enormous amount of money utilizing his excessive memory syndrome to his advantage and hires Park Dong Ho (Park Sung Woong) to defend his father. The viewers are eagerly anticipating how Jin Woo and Dong Ho’s partnership will work out.

Meanwhile MBC’s “Sweet, Savage Family” scored 6.2 percent.

The mystery thriller SBS series "Remember" premiered its first two episodes this week.

On the second episode of K-drama "Remember," which aired on Dec. 10, 2015, Yoo Seung Ho fought hard to prove his dad's innocence. Seo Jin Woo, played by actor Yoo Seung Ho, could not let his father Seo Jae Hyuk, played by actor Jeon Kwang Ryeol, go to jail.

Seo Jae Hyuk was framed for raping and murdering a woman in her twenties, whom he found in the mountain while hiking. As soon as he found her, Seo Jae Hyuk reported the incident to the police. However, bribed police officers arrested Seo Jae Hyuk for the crime.

Seo Jae Hyuk' public defender was a useless coward with a stage phobia and Seo Jae Hyuk's mild dementia dramatically got worse as the episode progressed, to the point he could not even recognize his own son.

Just when he thought there is no way to prove his dad's innocence, Seo Jin Woo, who suffers from hyperthymesia, used his condition of possessing an extremely detailed memory to make hundreds of thousands of dollars at an illegal casino. (He is a high school student) Seo Jin Woo remembered lawyer Park Dong Ho, played by Park Seong Woong. Seo Jin Woo used to see Park Dong Ho in the graveyard every year, because Seo Jin Woo's mother and Park Dong Ho's father had passed away on the same day.

Seo Jin Woo visited lawyer Park Dong Ho's office, threw the money from the casino in front of him and pleaded to represent his father on trial. The episode ended with Park Dong Ho's dramatic entrance to the court in session.

Yoo Seung Ho Is All Smiles Behind the Scenes of “Remember”

Some behind-the-scenes pictures of Yoo Seung Ho on the set of “Remember” were released on December 13. It is said that he was hit by a lot of raw eggs this day, but he seems as happy as ever!

Although the day was cold, Yoo Seung Ho was all smiles all day, and instead of resting in his car in between scenes, he stayed and worked with the staff, impressing all on site. The producers even said, “The fact that ‘Remember’ met Yoo Seung Ho was by fate, and it was our biggest luck.”

Yoo Seung Ho is playing the role of the genius lawyer Seo Jin Woo who has photographic memory. “Remember” airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays on SBS.

"Joseon Magician” is about a magician living in the Joseon Dynasty who is in a risky relationship with a girl. He ultimately puts everything on the line in the name of love. This movie staring Yoo Seung Ho and Go Ara is slated to premiere in December..... hmm possibly by the end of the month.

Hope Shinhye will find time to support Seung Ho in his VIP premiere for this movie "Joseon Magician" although she just finished her part in Hyeong movie, her exam is coming up soon so she could graduate her final semester.

The story brings out heavy feels... ..... emotional...
I have to prepare myself for the episodes to come..still finding time though
One more thing is that I love staring at his eyes while acting.. A little similar to Shin Hye's expressive eyes... their beautiful...

I've been trying to control myself from watching as my friends wants to watch the episodes together this weekend.

His character has Hyperthymesia (a person can recall every detail that transpired in an abnormally huge memory, vividly recalling everything even visually, perfectly)..... amazing but gives me goosebumps.

that is why I wish to finish watching this must see drama, Remember then I will watch his movie next year when available.... I will get too confused with his three consecutive projects.
But I love Yoo Seung Ho ever more.

Yoo Seung Ho returned to Korean drama as critics bemoan the inevitable departure of star actors like Lee Min Ho and emerging Hallyu star, Ji Chang Wook, who soon depart for the military.

Audiences who are just getting to know him will not have to worry about his absence from K-Entertainment and those who have remained with him since the start of his career can rejoice at his ability to take on challenging new roles.

3. He proves that child stars in Korean entertainment usually improve with age.

He successfully transitioned from his breakout role as a nine-year-old child actor in the sleeper hit, "A Way Home," to emerge as a teen star in "Master of Study."

Prior to entering the military, he appeared in a supporting role in "Arirang and the Magistrate," before serving as the lead in the melodrama, "Missing You."

4. While he continues to bear the nickname, Little So Ji Sub, he has demonstrated his ability to deliver star power to both television and film.
