[News] 101226 FT Island Held a Successful Concert in Taiwan



FT Island held a press conference at The Sherwood Taipei Hotel in Taiwan on 24th December to congratulate their successful entry into Taiwan.

Though they’ve only entered the Taiwan music industry for a short period of 10 months, with an album sales record over 100,000, FT Island won favorable comments in the Chinese media.





The band held a successful concert at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall on 25th December, at 7.30pm and spent a wonderful Christmas evening with their fans. Saying goodbye to their Taiwan fans, the band had returned to Korea this morning.

[News] 101227 FT Island Held a Christmas Concert with 9,000 Fans



FT Island spent Christmas with about 9,000 fans at their recently held “2010 Beautiful Journey Live in Taiwan”.
The concert lasted for about 3 hours with many hit songs performed by FT Island. The members were moved by their fans, who sang their Korean songs along with them. The night was at its peak when they performed “Still”, OST theme song of the drama “You’re Beautiful”.

As the concert was held in Taiwan, the members made efforts to communicate with their fans in Mandarin. The members also wore santa hats during the encore segment and sang Christmas carols together with their fans.
FT Island members commented that, “It was a very meaningful Christmas day. We were very happy that our fans enjoyed the night with us. Four main news agencies namely, China Times, Yonhap News, Apple Daily and Liberty Times, covered news on the concert, showing the band’s high popularity.

Besides this concert, FT Island also held a sold out showcase earlier in February. This is the first time for a Korean band to hold a big-scale concert and it had attracted lots of attention in Taiwan and other Asia countries.
FT Island also broke several records in Taiwan with 500,000 hits on mobile downloads and 10,000,000 hits on music downloads.

I think Hongstar kinda shy on Shin Hye, he's blushing he missed Shin Hye, he wants to hug her but he didnt do, but I feel relief Shin Hye is very happy seeing and celebrate Christmas with FT Island.

this was before YAB, i think during kimcheed radish cubes days...this was the first time they met where HK said that he was a fan (PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG)

they both didn't imagine that they will star in a drama and will be good friends....

that clip definitely was way before YB, maybe around KimcheeRadish days like tata mentioned.
You can tell coz SH's hair's really short and Hongki's longer....plus the fact that SH still didin't look as tall, so maybe a couple of years back...

now they're so comfy with one another...i'm so glad they've remained close.

mates it's like a game on Mnet that most likely boy bands do. His tasked is make Shin Hye wink without her noticing it and which I think he succeeded in doing.

I totally remember watching this video. This video was around 2008, way before YAB. This was indeed the first time that HK and SH met. It was so funny because SH said she was liked HK's song and she named the current song of his but she got the name wrong! And HK was suppose to make SH say out loud what he was trying to act out. But yes, fate will bring them together in 2 years, making them the best of friends. I always wondered if the 2 remember the first time they met because when they had their first photoshoot together, HK seemed really shy to SH. And yes, HK said he was a fan of SH!
