Jung Yonghwa admitted to hospital after We Got Married recording


Fatigue has once again struck another K-pop star and this time it’s CNBlue’s Jung Yonghwa.
It was reported that Jung Yonghwa has just completed filming for We Got Married with Seohyun on the 24th, when he complained of dizziness and subsequently collapsed due to fatique. He was immediately taken to hospital for treatment.

A representative expressed, “Jung Yonghwa had only just recovered from his vocal cord nodule and then had to rehearse a lot in preparation for CNBlue’s new album. He also developed a cold and was probably overwhelmed with fatique. He is now receiving treatment for his vocal cord nodule which reportedly worsened.”

Yonghwa’s condition will mean that the scheduled recording for Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook on the 25th will now have to be canceled. Schedules scheduled for the rest of the week will be decided, depending on Yonghwa’s speed of recovery.

The representative ended by saying, “We will listen to the doctor’s advice and give Yonghwa a break if needed. We will adjust CNBlue’s future schedules accordingly..”

He was already sick before the comeback but push ahead with the schedule. And after four back-to-back performances starting with M! Countdown and ending with Inkigayo and who knows what else, he has finally succumbed to fatique. Let’s hope he does get some good rest and it’s a shame because the album is really good and the comeback should probably be delayed. Health is more important though.

Jung Yonghwa might require surgery for vocal cord polyps

Having been hospitalized yesterday for his vocal cord polyps and fatigue, it was revealed that CNBlue’s Jung Yonghwa might require surgery to resolve his condition.

According to a FNC representative on the 25th, Jung Yonghwa was diagnosed to have developed vocal cord polyps and acute laryngitis yesterday upon admittance for treatment. Although he can cure his acute laryngitis with medication, he would have to undergo surgery for his vocal cord polyps condition to restore his normal voice. But it was noted that nothing has been decided yet, and a decision would be taken after more scans and futher observation.

With no confirmed discharge date, CNBlue’s schedule for the week are likely to be canceled and future schedules would depend on Yonghwa’s recovery.

CNBlue had only just returned with their new album, Blue Love last week and had completed successful back-to-back comeback performances.

หลังจากที่ จองยงฮวา ได้รับผลการวินิจฉันจากทีมแพทย์ว่าเขาเป็นเนื้องอกบนเส้นเสียงเมื่อเดือนเมษายนที่ผ่านมา จนส่งผลให้ต้องงดบันทึกเสียงผลงานอัลบั้มใหม่ CNBLUE เป็นการชั่วคราว ล่าสุดจองยงฮวาติดเชื้อไข้หวัดใหญ่จากการทำงานหนัก ส่งผลให้เขาต้องถูกนำตัวเข้ารักษาตัวในโรงพยาบาลทันที

ต้นสังกัดเผย "หลังจากทราบผลการตรวจแล้วเราจะแจ้งให้ทราบเกี่ยวกับการทำกิจกรรมอีกครั้งหนึ่งครับ" เขากล่าว

อนึ่ง เมื่อวันที่ 21 เมษายนที่ผ่านมา ในระหว่างที่ จองยงฮวา เข้าร่วมบันทึกเทปรายการ SBS 'Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate' เขาได้สัมผัสถึงความผิดปกติของเส้นเสียง ส่งผลให้เขาตัดสินใจไปตรวจเช็คร่างกายที่โรงพยาบาล โดยการพบความผิดปกติของเสียงนั้น เขาสัมผัสได้ในระหว่างการซ้อมก่อนบันทึกเทปรายการจริง

ด้วยเหตุนี้เมื่อจองยงฮวาเดินทางไปโรงพยาบาลในวันถัดไป ปรากฏว่าแพทย์ได้แจ้งว่าเขามีเนื้องอกบนเส้นเสียง แต่ว่าโชคดีที่เป็นระยะเริ่มแรกทำให้ไม่จำเป็นต้องเข้ารับการผ่าตัดแต่อย่างใด

อย่างไรก็ตามเพื่อให้เนื้องอกบนเส้นเสียงนั้นกระสู่สภาวะปกติตามธรรมชาติ ส่งผลให้จองยงฮวาได้รับคำสั่งไม่ให้ใช้เสียงและต้องพักผ่อนอย่างจริงจังเท่านั้น แต่ทว่าดูเหมือนว่าจองยงฮวาได้เปิดเผยผ่านต้นสังกัดว่าเขาอยากทำงานเพลงอย่างต่อเนื่อง ส่งผลให้ CNBLUE ได้วางจำหน่ายมินิอัลบั้มชุดที่ 2 ไปเมื่อวันที่ 19 พฤษภาคมที่ผ่านมาพร้อมกับทำกิจกรรมอย่างต่อเนื่อง จนต้องเข้ารับการรักษาในครั้งนี้อันมีเหตุจากการทำงานหนักนั่นเอง

On the 24th, CNBLUE’s leader Jung Yonghwa was admitted to the hospital due to fatigue and worsening of his vocal cord nodule. The causes were said to be from overworking for CNBLUE’s comeback as well as the recent shooting of Dream Concert on the 22nd in which CNBLUE had to perform in the rain. Things weren’t looking good as it was revealed that he might require a surgery for vocal cord polyps.

Today, it’s been revealed that Jung Yonghwa will be discharged from the hospital this Thursday the 27th. CNBLUE’s schedule this week will still go on as planned as they will be performing in this week’s music programs.

FNC Music stated, “It looks like this week’s schedule will still go on as planned. … We apologize for worrying the fans regarding Jung Yonghwa’s health.

We wish the best of luck to Jung Yonghwa and hope he will have a speedy recovery! We certainly hope that they are doing the right thing.
