They want him to have more "real feeling" in this show?

CNBLUE’s Kang Min Hyuk was almost cast for “You’re Handsome”

CNBLUE’s Kang Min Hyuk revealed a story of changed fate while making an appearance on the November 30th episode of SBS’s “Strong Heart.”

He began, “I received an opportunity to audition for a Korean drama one day. I had to basically rival with Jung Yong Hwa for a role in SBS’s ‘You’re Handsome.’ We practiced acting with each other and I was definitely better than him at acting. In fact, Yong Hwa-hyung had a very awkward time with it, so I was sure that the opportunity would bend in my favor. I felt that I’d be able to become a somebody if I received the ‘Kang Shin Woo’ role.”

He continued, “I was devastated when I heard that Yong Hwa-hyung got the role while in Japan. I started crying and begging our CEO to give me another chance because I was so hurt. I later heard from the director that my cute image didn’t fit with the ‘Kang Shin Woo’ character, which was why he chose Yong Hwa-hyung. I was really upset every time I read articles calling Yong Hwa-hyung ‘towel man’ or ‘milk man.’ I always thought that it was my spot.”

SNSD’s Sooyoung, who had been listening on, added her own story in order to console him, “Originally, Park Ha Sun’s role in the movie ‘Fool‘ was mine. But if I had done that role, I don’t think I could’ve joined SNSD. I think that everyone has their own time and place.”

oh my Minhyuk. . . he is a natural when I saw his cut on his kdrama. Now I am wishing that he will have another drama/movie soon. he definitely has baby face and cute ! (like SJK's youthful appearance) did I just repeat myself ?! LOL

Jonghyun's intense acting is really good and Minhyuk's natural acting is lovely. I wasnt really that surprised when Minhyuk said he's better than his hyung (YH). LOOLLL Minhyuk is more natural. but still YH is also good actor (he's technical/method actor imho). I admit that YH was so awkward in YAB's early episodes, he grew better each episodes. but then I understand that Shinwoo is waaaayy different from YH's real personality.

Hi CN BLUE fans

Sigh...after reading that SH is getting some antis for that pic of her leaning on YH, I am once again very upset, disgusted, and indignant. I can't help but vent. Have they ever wondered why YH is so famous now? Why is CN BLUE so famous? No one even knew who they were a year ago! I personally accredit to the cast of YAB, especially JGS and PSH. If it weren't for YAB, YH would not be famous. And because he was famous, it made CN BLUE famous immediately. Because of YAB, YH was able to fulfill his dream of being a famous singer. Why do these selfish fans forget the root of his fame? Have they forgotten why they were able to become a fan of YH and CNBLUE??!!

Anyways, I don't want to get mad because if I get mad, I lose (as Hwang Tae Kyung would say). I LOVE the pics of them together and even though I am a major GeunShin fan, I couldn't help but melt when I saw them together. They really look good together and YH seems so happy in that pic. I just felt like he neglected SH the most after YAB. I truly believe he has not forgotten about SH and like others have said, how can he possibly forget her? She was the first girl he collaborated with and she taught him so much and treated him like a friend. I know he is grateful to her....and even though I feel disappointed that he does not mention SH as one of his celebrity friends or vaguely hints at it with ANJELL, I think he does it because he wants to protect her but also because he is working on his career and since he is on this program WGM or whatever it's called, it seems like he can't have any other links with other gurls besides that SNSD girl. I really don't understand this WGM show. So are they dating in the show but not in real life? I guess I don't understand the POINT of the show. It's like forcing YH to like a girl.

Mandy, agreed! I cant say it better!! I always feel that YH neglected SH for a while...but in the end, he still misses her. As we know, Friendship will never end>>I hope it's still on his mind. Yes, I also think he's protecting SH, he never mention Shinhye's name -til now, he just said ANJELL- before that Mooks photoshoot, he always said JGS & HK as celeb friend. Let's see what he will say in the future.
dunno if it's just me, I never follow WGM, I watch it bcoz of YH and still dun buy it. I'm still thinking, what's the point doing this show?? I'd rather see YH in Running Man, etc etc or hosting radio show (like Suju's Heechul) or doing many quiz than appearing in "marriage" show. Dun fit his image as musician. Tho I like Khuntoria a bit, but I dun religiously follow them and shipping them hard. I guess I want to be realistic.

Thank u for sharing, saw the linky. I just have to laugh at all these. . . have a feelin that what Minhyuk said would have an effect, but how 'disturbing', was a big surprise to me !! It is scary how the quote evolves to somethin else to JHY's virtual wife? . Was Minhyuks' innocence and just how he felt. It is real, raw emotion. It may even be a force that he would strive more, work harder and do his best. Ambitious ? nothing's wrong with that. Each of the boys have their own strengths and passions but one thing is for sure.... they are definitely a great band together !

Minhyuk said after: “Yonghwa hyung absolutely didn’t know about this. If he knew, he would say that I betrayed him”. He maybe teased by his hyung when he finds out. but have a feelin that JYH would understand.
