Chapter 8: Moving on

Then her mobile phone rings, she got a message.

“hi. Don’t think too much and don’t forget to save my number. Goodnight” It’s Geun Suk

She smiled after reading it.

“who’s that? Why are you smiling?” Geun Young asked

“it’s nothing” Shin Hye lied

“and you, how come you came late? I thought you’re just behind us” Shin Hye said

Geun Young explain that it’s because of Hongki. He insisted to eat first before driving her home because he’s complaining that he’s so hungry, that’s why she agreed to eat first.

“really?” Shin Hye said with disbelief

“ofcourse” Geun Young said

It’s already two weeks since the semi final game and it’s already become a habit that the four of them eat together at the cafeteria, and the two guys driving the two ladies to school and back to their house.

“you really bringing your car” Geun young said

“That’s what I said right?” Hong ki said

“so you’re a man who keeps his words” Geun Young commented

“ofcourse”

“then can you keep a secret?” Geun young asked

“what is it?”

“actually I really wanted to say thanks to Geun Suk but I’m hesitating” Geun Young said

“why do you want to thank him?” Hongki asked

Geun Suk is looking at her every now and then. He’s thinking if it’s alright to talk to her.

“why?” Shin Hye noticed him

“I heard Hyung Joon dropped out of school” he informed

‘so that explains why I didn’t see him’ she sadly said

“I thought I’m just good in escaping” she forced a smile

“by the way, How do you know that?” she said while looking at him

They are both running for the MVP player of the year, so the time the Basketball committee knew that he dropped out, they immediately told it to the senior’s team. It only means that his competitor will be change.

“you’re still thinking of him, right?” Geun Suk asked

“ofcourse, we’ve been together for a year” she said

“after being cheated, I thought he’s the one who will make me happy” she sadly added

“remember, if you meet someone, don’t think they’re better, they’re just different” Geun Suk said

“I wonder what can make me move on?” she asked

“you really don’t need reasons and explanations in order to move on because moving on is easy if you start accepting everything” Geun Suk said

“because he’s always with Shin Hye. Maybe she can’t still notice but I think Shin Hye’s not hurting so much because he’s there to make her laugh.” Geun Young said

“Then why are you hesitating? You think he’s just playing her?” Hongki asked

“no, I just don’t want him to think that maybe she likes him” she said

“Geun Suk is not like that” Hongki informed

“keep it a secret while I’m observing her, okay?” Geun Young said

“sure”

“Don’t forget to watch tomorrow” geun Suk said

“there’s nothing good to watch” she coldly said

“what? That’s so cold” he pouted

“just kidding. Ofcourse I’ll watch you” she smilingly said

“we’re here” Hongki said

“thanks again” she said

“why are you looking at me?” she asked

“so I will not miss you that much” Hongki said

‘stop it” Geun Young said

“you’re going to watch tomorrow right?” Hongki asked

“yes, I’ll accompany Shin Hye to watch Geun Suk” she answered

“that’s all?” Hongki pouted
“ofcourse to watch you too” she shyly said

“really? Really? Really?”

“yes, so go home now and get some rest” Geun Young said

They stopped at their house. Shin Hye stepped out of the car and

“where are you going now?” she asked

“I have a date” he answered

“oh.. with one of your girlfriends” she teased

“yes, why? Do you want to date with me?” he teased back

“ofcourse not, I’m just asking” she said

“you really are a playboy” she added

“I’ll be lying if I say no, right?” he said

“but if you’re going to go out with me, I will definitely change, and make you my only one” Geun Suk winked

“pabo! Go already. Take care” She smilingly said
