Chapter 5: Comforter

Geun Suk is thinking about Shin Hye while driving. He doesn’t know why but by looking at her like that he feels like he wants to hug her and be with her. He quickly turned back his car to go back to shin Hye. He stopped in front of Shin Hye

She was Surprised

“why did you go back?” she asked

“I don’t know either. I know it’s not my fault why you are like that but I feel so guilty leaving you alone here.” He explained

‘thanks. But how about your date?” she asked

“don’t think about it” he said while turning his phone off and sits beside Shin Hye.

Geun Suk asked about what happened and why she’s like that. Shin Hye told her everything, how hyung Joon ignores her calls, how she saw him hugging another girl and to be exact the girl who’s the reason she got jealous before because she and Hyung Joon is very close.

“I thought he’s someone who will make my heart whole again after it was broken, but I was wrong” she painfully said

“you don’t need someone who will make your heart whole again, instead you need someone who can make it realize that it never really got broken” he said

“what am I going to do?” she said between crying

“Remember this, if he’s too dumb to walk away from you, be smart to let him go” he advised

Geun suk drive her home, Her eyes are swollen because of crying.

“don’t cry again” he said

Shin Hye smiled and “thank you. Thank you very much”

“anytime, go in and get a rest” he said

“and don’t think too much” he added

When he gets to his car, he immediately turned on his phone, the exact time that it rings.

“okay! I’ll pick you up there” he answered the call

“why are you so quiet oppa?” his girlfriend asked

“I’m driving” he said then he turned back his car

“where are we going?” she asked

“back to your house. I’m not in a good mood to date now” he said

Geun Young immediately hugged her after she heard what happened

“it’s okay” Geun Young comforted

Shin Hye and Geun Young still watch the semi final game eventhough Shin Hye’s hurting that instead of her, hye Sun is with Hyung Joon.

“it’s rare to see you up here in the bleachers”

“Geun Suk” shin Hye smiled

“because most of the time you’re by his side” he smilingly teased

“Stop it. You’re adding salt on my wound” she pouted

“I’m just kidding” he chuckled

“oh, by the way meet my bestfriend Geun Young” she introduced

“Hi, nice to meet you. Thanks for bringing her home last night” Geun young said

“don’t mention it” he said

“you’ve got a beautiful friend here, It’s good that I’m not with Hongki” Geun Suk said

“Hong ki?”

“yes, Hongki, my friend” he said

“Yah! Did I hear you calling my name?” it’s Hong ki

“you really are my stalker” Geun Suk kidded

Shin Hye and Geun Young Laughed

Geun Suk introduced Hongki to Shin Hye and Geun Young. They are happily talking that they didn’t notice that the game is already over and the second year’s team won.

Shin Hye’s smile fade when she saw Hye Sun wiping hyung Joon’s sweat.

Geun Suk looked at her and “let’s go outside already” he said

The four of them decided to go to the cafeteria to eat first. After that they separated ways to go back to their classes. Geun suk and Shin Hye is together while Hongki insist to accompany Geun Young to her classes.

“Thanks for doing my favor to stay with me during the game” Hyung Joon said

“you owe me one” Hye Sun kidded

“so you’re not playing on the finals? Since you’re flight will be later already” she asked

“yes”

“how about her?’ she’s talking about Shin Hye

“I still don’t know”

And how unlucky is she that they are going to meet Hyung Joon and Hye Sun along the corridor.

“let’s take the other way” Shin Hye suggested

“No, if we take the other way, you lose” Geun Suk said

“but I don’t think I can face him closely” she nervously said

“trust me” he said then he holds her hand

They walk straightly not minding Hyung joon and Hye Sun.
“damn!” Hyung joon cursed

“why she’s with him?” Hyung Joon said

“I need to rush what I’m supposed to do so I can return soon.” He said

Geun Suk started to walk slowly while his eyes were locked to Shin Hye’s teary eyes.

“you can cry now” he said

“I’m so stupid” she said while crying so hard on Geun Suk’s chest while Geun Suk is gently caressing her hair by his one hand while the other one is pulling her closely.

“it’s alright” he consoled.

Happy Easter mygeunsuk_oppa this story is by far pretty good the plot thickens fast....that this thread is the first I read in this site....casting is perfect as always an epic combination of stars.... I would also add how strangely the younger characters in your story seem to have a mature view of having relationships like shin hye sticking to her man and jgs being a playboy who is older. The lines
are good as always and I liked how you let readers be deeply immersed but not be totally bored by your plot. Thanks again for
such a good and entertaining read. It's a perfect escape after reading such heart laden heavy books such as the lovely bones. xoxo....

why not just give her an explanation?
But I guess that's good, because you make GS become her shoulder to cry on...

i agree with you dita, seeing that SH is with GS one should worry and just explain things to her so she can wait for him....
he'd be too late once SH falls for the charmer GS!!! i just hope GS doesn't hurt her!!!

Chapter 6: Friendship

“where are we going? It’s already time for your flight” Hye Sun said

“I need to see her” Hyung Joon answered

Instead of going to the airport, hyun Joon turned back her car. He’s going to Shin Hye’s house. After seeing her with Geun suk, He decided to see her so he can explain everything and ask her to wait for him.

He’s knocking and waiting outside her house but no one’s answering. He dialed Shin Hye’s number but it’s out of reach.

Geun Suk stopped his convertible in front of shin Hye and Geun Young.

“hi” Hong ki greeted, he’s on the passenger seat

“I’ll drive you home” Geun Suk Offered

“thanks but Geun Young brought her car” shin Hye said

“really? Then let me drive it” Hong ki said while stepping outside the car

“that way, I can drive Geun Young Home” he cutely added

“please please” he begged

“okay, sure” Geun Young said while giving her the key

In the end Shin Hye rides Geun Suk’s car while Hongki and Geun Young is together.

“next time, I’ll bring my car so I can drive you home everyday” Hong ki said

“you don’t have to” Geun Young said

“but I want to” Hongki cutely smiled

“hey, tell me, what’s your friend’s objective?” Geun Young asked

“huh?”

“he’s trying to be close to my bestfriend. I don’t want her to get hurt anymore” Geun Young said

“yah! What do you mean by that? I know my friend is a player but I’m sure he’s not going to toy her” Hong ki said

Geun Young sighed in relief and “I thought so too. I just wanted to confirm it” she said

“you really care about her huh” Hong ki said

“Ofcourse, I don’t want to see her like that again” Geun young said

Geun suk take a glance to her while driving. Shin Hye is so quiet while looking at the window.

“you’re comfortable aren’t you?” Geun suk asked

“a little” she admitted

Geun Suk smiled

“are you okay now?” he asked

“yes, thank you” she said

“well, what are friends are for right?” he said

“eh?”

“why? You don’t want me to be your friend?” Geun Suk asked

“no, pfcourse not. It’s a pleasure to be your friend” She said

“then, that’s good” Geun suk smiled

“Let’s go now” she added

Hyung Joon sadly stepped in the car. He didn’t get a chance to see her and talk to her for the last time. He regretfully started the car.

“why?”

“I’ll save my number so if you need me you can just call me. That’s what friends do right?.” he explained

“okay.okay. you don’t need to explain” she smiled

“oh, I have no battery” she said while holding her phone

“here. Just save your number” he said while giving his mobile phone.

“I wonder who owns that car. It’s my first time to see that here in the neighborhood” she said while looking at the car that went out of their neighborhood.

“maybe they bought a new one” he said

“or maybe it’s a visitor”

“yah! That’s shin hye right?” Geun Young said after they passed Geun suk’s convertible

“what are doing? Stop the car” she added

“no need” hyung joon coldly said

Hye Sun asked him why but he’s not answering. She also told him that she’s going to explain everything to Shin Hye but he refused saying he’s the one who will explain after he returned. The truth is before they passed Geun Suk’s car he already saw Shin Hye but he didn’t stop because he becomes irritated seeing her with him again.

“thank you” shin hye said

Geun Suk smiled

“see you tomorrow” he said

She stepped out of the car and when she got inside, that’s the only time Geun Suk started his car.
