The cast of 'Pinocchio' show more of their chemistry in BTS photos ahead of premiere



inocchio' continued to raise the hype for the drama with BTS photos of Park Shin Hye, Lee Jong Suk, Lee Yu Bi, and Kim Young Kwang!

As Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye are of the same age both in the drama and real life, the onscreen couple naturally got close in a short span of time and their chemistry showed through the photos.

A producer stated, "As much as Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye are called the endorphins of the set, they are responsible for the warm atmosphere... To the point that they can't stop smiling and laughing since the first filming, they are showing the best acting chemistry. We ask for a lot of anticipation and support."

Remember from the preview.. Courtroom scene.... this time, InHa is defending Min Joon-gook I can't wait to watch this... There must be more than that short clip.

When I watched the trailer, I liked how they used the court scene to show her pinocchio syndrome ‘cause reference to ihyv and now minjoongook too i’m just—-

I think this is just really comedic and I would love that scene too much. When I saw that preview, I almost knew it was overacted for a reason and I was looking forward to what that would be about, and this makes total sense and it makes me even more thirsty.

I have always loved meta that I understood. This one I would and it is awesome sense of humor by the writer/director.

And since we will get a glimpse of Min Joonguk again.... I am hoping for a Lee Bo Young's cameo also.... maybe as Lawyer Jang Hye Sung (iHYV) awesome!

Lee Jong Suk concerned of losing his hair while filming for “Pinocchio”

Lee Jong Suk, model turned actor, shares his concern of using a wig for the filming of SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama series Pinocchio.

On November 6th, the cast and production staff of Pinocchio held a press conference at the SBS headquarter in Seoul. During the press interview, Lee Jong Suk revealed his struggle of using a bushy wig for his role and explained, “The messy wig is a different style when the character becomes an adult. Since I wear the wig for long hours, I noticed that my front falling out. I still use it for filming, and it is quite miserable. I appear much uglier than I have imagined. It is a kind of ugliness that cannot be expressed if another handsome actor took the role. I haven’t been able to transform yet. When I have other schedules, I feel quite awkward. It feels fresh and cool without the wig, but I am concerned with my hair falling out.”

The upcoming drama series Pinocchio is a story about a man who lives under a fake name and a woman who cannot lie. Lee Jong Suk plays the role of a local news reporter who has a special talent. In the meantime, check out 6 facts of Pinocchio Syndrome.

Usually in TV drama, they have tighter control to prevent a leak of the story just before the end, to keep the audience in anticipation for the ending. For Pinocchio, they stopped the crew from leaking the story from the beginning, because “there is a big twist in every ep, so this can help keep the audience’s fun in watching, hence special attention is paid” (That is why all the parts that may leak the story weren’t shown in the previews).

In one of the two posters, Park and Lee were lying on a cloud and gazing affectionately at each other. The poster made fans further anticipate the two actors’ romance in the drama.

The other poster showed the four main characters Lee, Park, actor Kim Young-kwang and Lee Yu-bi. In the poster, Lee and Park wear white knitted sweaters like a couple, while Kim and Lee Yu-bi also wear pastel-toned outfits, giving a mellow atmosphere.

The drama “Pinocchio” is about young news reporters working on the social affairs desk and fighting for justice. It is scheduled to premiere on Nov. 12 after “My Lovely Girl.”

Jung Woong In will play the role of bad guy in upcoming Pinocchio as his Min Joon Gook character from “I Hear Your Voice”. Previously, Jung Woong In had chance to work with Lee Jong Suk on “I Hear Your Voice”.

A Representative of SBS Pinocchio said that “Jung Woong In maintained a great relationship with the production staff of ‘I Hear Your Voice,’ and when we approached him about the idea, he accepted it gladly.”

They further revealed, “During the second episode which will air on November 13, Park Shin Hye‘s character will imagine a courtroom scenario. Jung Woong In’s Min Joon Gook will appear in that scene.”

“Pinnochio” is set to air on November 12.
