This show is quite often very pretty, and it’s no surprise that I love that. Some of the island moments gave me Spring Waltz vibes and it’s pretty hard to deny how great that sunset was (which is why I drew it!). I also liked that whole sunset sequence because it revealed that even as teenagers they feel quite close and comfortable together (no matter how much they pretend otherwise). When Dal-po sees In-ha limping they don’t even need to exchange words for him to offer her a piggyback ride, or for her to accept it. Technically it’s probably easier for them that way so they don’t have to admit to caring, but that doesn’t make it any less clear to us that they have each other’s backs.

Speaking of pretty, when I initially checked out a description for Pinocchio it described Dal-po as having “a handsome appearance, but his ugly clothing and hair style hide that fact.” I literally laughed out loud when I read that. I could maybe see mistaking him as a girl at certain angles, but bad hair does not make him look any less modelesque. It hasn’t been made clear either way, but do the other characters on the show really see him as unappealing? Or are there even viewers suffering from his hideous visage? I think they need a much uglier wig for that.

Although high school is always a fun place to be in dramaland, I’m very much looking forward to the reporter world and seeing where this story is really headed. There are so many different trajectories the characters could follow, and what paths they choose will probably ultimately determine how much I like this drama.

There have been tons of new shows lately, and even a couple I have yet to check out. What are everyone’s current faves?



This is quite a different perspective and somehow made sense. I'm welcoming this angle also. Pinocchio is sure fun to watch and understand the different characterization and each six degrees of separation.

I can't wait to see the chemistry between PSH and KYK cause I know everybody was shipping them at the press con!! asking for more of these two! What I expect to see in the upcoming episodes of Pinocchio is that:

- Shin hye/ In-Ha sticks to the straightforward trait
- Sexual Chemistry
- Lee Jong Suk shower scene... Kim Young Kwang too
- a lot of action and running around and more slapping from PSH
- Lee Yoo Bi being a real Richard Simmons (haven't watched her before!)

Woah more articles, new spoilers, interesting comments on Pinocchio. More like breaking news!

Did you notice this scene where they used the concept "of course" game ? When Dalpo did it once... I said.. whoa.. good thing InHa asked another question. That show is hilarious....

Lee Jong Suk will be getting a make over in Pinocchio.

On November 17, SBS’s Pinocchio released a set of stills featuring Lee Jong Suk who gets rid of his bushy hair and gets a new clean cut hairstyle.

The pictures show Lee Jong Suk making a transformation going from a hillbilly to a city man. Lee Jong Suk catches eyes with his new hairstyle and trendy clothes, unveiling his handsome appearance that has been hidden by his bushy hair.
However, Lee Jong Suk’s facial expression is puzzling, as he does not look happy even as he is trying on a new suit.

Byun Hee Bong transforms into a stylish gentleman with his fedora and a cane and holding a fashion magazine on his other hand. Looking at Lee Jong Suk’s transformation with a satisfied face, Byun Hee Bong brings out curiosity on what has happened between the onscreen father and son.

The production team stated, “Having kept his ‘bushy hair and rubber shoes’ style, Lee Jong Suk will be transforming in to a city man and there is a heart wrenching story and a special helper behind his transformation,” adding, “Please check the story behind Lee Jong Suk’s make over through the broadcast.”

Pinocchio starring Lee Jong Suk, Park Shin Hye, Kim Young Kwang and Lee Yubi is about a man living with a fake name and a woman who cannot lie. It airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m. (KST) through SBS.
