I will be very excited if she takes on the movie. It'll be a different role than she normally play and it'll be good for her. It will probably break her out of the shell and more opportunities in the future for other roles (like action...yeah!) Some directors might not cast her in action if they haven't seen that side of her acting. She can do her Tae Kwon Do or was it Judo? in the movie (isn't the role as martial arts trainer?). Even though it might not be main lead in the movie?? (I could be wrong) but at least it can give her the boost to be the lead in a movie in the future.

Next weekend is the start of the filming of "Hyung" and there are still NO solid news from SALT Ent and others. SH is still in Paris. Is it college break now?

So Nicole, does it mean our SH has pulled out of this movie?

Really disappointed if she didn't do this movie. It'll be different but then again she might know something and there is a reason for not taking it. I'll trust her judgement.

Their comment was....“We are currently discussing [the role]. We have not reached a final decision, but we are discussing it favorably.”

And the movie “Hyung” is scheduled to start filming in October. hmm it is true that Korea movie productions does not always divulge their filming schedules, BTS and what nots unlike the dramas.... unless we get fans accounts and pictures.

Apparently they have started the script reading yesterday as fans saw DO and Jo Jung Suk together. BUT no SH.
This movie has not updated the cast since Sept 2.

Don't know what is happening to SH and LJS. Both wanted to star in a movie and both apparently accepted the offer but both eventually dropped out.

Let us not lose hope.....maybe we will get confirmation until it starts shooting
For now, let us all wait and see....until such time that there is a name for the role that is supposedly Shin Hyes....
i am still optimistic that the production team is also waiting for a yes from Shin Hyes side....

No news is still good news for me.....but of course i am getting restless too
