Behind the scenes photos of Song Joong Ki were recently posted on the homepage of the drama, ‘Nice Guy‘.

On the official website of the KBS2 drama, a couple of photos titled ‘The Eun-Maru couple playing with children‘ were revealed.

The photos were said to have been taken during the shooting for a scene shown in the latter half of episode 10 of ‘Nice Guy’, in which Maru (Song Joong Ki) discovers Suh Eun Gi (Moon Chae Won) playing with children in the neighborhood.

Meanwhile, ‘Nice Guy’ has held on to the #1 spot in viewer ratings for its time slot for 5 continuous weeks.

Well that’s creepy. Not normally the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Song Joong-ki and Park Bo-young, but in this themed photo shoot for their movie Wolf Boy, the pair of actors embrace the dark and otherworldly, almost a little too well. I think I’m a bigger fan of the movie’s wolf concept. Yunno, the one where everybody gets to keep his eyebrows.

I suppose the look is slightly Edward-Scissorhands-esque, which is in keeping with the movie’s take on the wolf boy — an innocent, misunderstood creature who finds an unlikely love. More moody quirky romance, less Teen Wolf. Park Bo-young plays an introverted girl who finds a feral wolf boy in the woods behind her family’s country home, and begins to socialize him little by little.

The best part? She uses a dog training manual to do it. Ha. I know we’re prone to calling Joong-ki a puppy ’round here, but that’s a new kind of ingenious. Do you think she’ll teach him how to roll over and play fetch?

The photo spread is probably scarier than the movie will be, but I do actually like how eery it feels. With this role and his current drama Nice Guy, it seems like Joong-ki’s really embracing the dark side, and I’m lovin’ it.

Wolf Boy is currently on the festival circuit and premieres October 31.

Song Joong Ki: “Playing a nonspeaking role was very hard”




Actor Song Joong Ki recently said, “I only had ten lines but it was very difficult to perform.”

On October 15, Song attended a press conference for the movie A Werewolf Boy, which was held at [bCGV[/b] in Seoul, and said, “I thought it would be easy to play a nonspeaking role but it was really difficult.”

Song, who played the role of a lonely werewolf boy, added, “Taking lines away from an actor is like taking a gun away from a soldier. That is the biggest thing that I learned through the movie. It was difficult to perform and memorize Bo Young’s lines. I realized that I haven’t been listening to other actors’ lines. I could learn basics through the movie.”

“I tried to make every cry sound different depending on the feelings. But respiration was more important. I tried hard to speak with my breathing while performing.”

The movie is about a fateful love story between a dangerous werewolf boy (played by Song) and a lonely girl (played by Park Bo Young), who shuts the door in her mind against the world. Jo Seong Hee directed the movie and Yoo Yeon Seok and Jang Young Nam helped to make the movie, which will be released on October 31.

Song Joong Ki makes a donation of rice again




Actor Song Joong Ki recently attracted a lot of attention by making a donation of rice.

On October 15, a press interview and preview for the new film A Werewolf Boy was held at CGV.

Director Jo Sung Hee, Song Joong Ki, Park Bo Young, Yoo Yeon Suk, and Jang Young Nam attended the interview. Before the interview began, Song’s fan cafe on Daum Telzone cheered for Song with 200 kilograms of rice.

Song’s fans sent the rice with such phrases as “Song Joong Ki captivates all women’s hearts,” “What can you do for us if the total number of the audience exceeds ten million?” and “We hope you can receive an award for your acting, and the film becomes a box-office hit.”

The rice will be donated to the places where Song has selected and used for some poor people. Song has also attended a welcoming ceremony of the Korea Foundation for Young Leukemia Patients in May and made a donation to children who suffer from cancer.

In September, Song’s fans sent a hundred kilograms of rice to Song when the press conference for the production of Nice Guy was held.

A Werewolf Boy is a love story between a werewolf boy (played by Song Joong Ki) and a lonely girl (played by Park Bo Young). It will be released on October 31.

Song Joong Ki explains, “When I said ‘Park Bo Young’s mine,’ I meant…”




Recently, actor Song Joong Ki gave an explanation over his remark made at the Busan International Film Festival.

At the press conference for the film distribution of A Werewolf Boy that opened in Wangsimni CGV in Seoul on October 15, actor Song Joong Ki showed up and said, “You guys all know what it meant, and yet you brought up this subject. What am I supposed to do when you ask this question again?”

Looking back on the incident, Song continued, “As for the reporters, it must’ve been the greatest news. The promotional team seemed to be thrilled at hearing my remark, but nobody took it seriously how much damage it would cause to a celebrity’s pride. You know, it was like when a couple says, “We’re dating,” from a naïve mind and no one is subjected to actually believe in it. When I made that comment, it was just out of that cheerful atmosphere, and apparently some reporters begin to haunt me with that. You all know what I meant,” wittily responding about his position.

The movie A Werewolf is about a dangerous werewolf whose existence is denied in this world falling in love with a lonely girl who closed her heart toward the world. The rising rookie director Jo Seong Hee was in charge of the film.

The movie opens at October 31.

Actor Song Joong Ki will be singing a song for his drama ‘Nice Guy‘.

The song “Really” is a ballad that serves as the theme song between Song Joong Ki and actress Moon Chae Won. It has a poetic melody along with heart-wrenching lyrics, relating to the couple’s love story on screen. The song’s lyrics were written by Kim Ji Soo and composed by Kim Ji Woong.

Song Joong Ki’s soft voice is said to have worked perfectly with the song, and expresses the feelings felt by his character better than anyone else for he has the best understanding about the drama and the character he plays.

“Really” will be released on the 31st.

Song Joong-ki unleashes cuteness to mark movie success





Pretty boy actor Song Joong-ki who is known for his charms has brought smiles on his fans’ faces with a picture of him and co-star Park Bo-young with sticky-taped fake tears and a sign that reads “1 million views check! Target 8 million.”

The pictures were uploaded on Nov. 4 by the stars of “A Werewolf Boy” after the film exceeded 1,003,637 views in just five days after opening.

Fans were stoked with the pictures and were quick to congratulate the two stars with many commenting that they looked like a perfect couple.

Actor Song Joong Ki will be out in the Free Agent market soon.
