“City Hunter” Lee Min Ho Expresses Affection for Park Min Young Through Pororo Band-Aid!



"City Hunter’s” Lee Min Ho showed his affection for Park Min Young by putting a Pororo Band-Aid on Park Min Young’s wounded cheek on yesterday’s episode of “City Hunter.”

Yoon Sung (Lee Min Ho) saved Na Na (Park Min Young) who was in danger during the moment Jin Pyo (Kim Sang Joong) was about to shoot his enemy Seo Yong Hak. Due to this incident, Na Na got wounded and Yoon Sung put on the Pororo Band-Aid for her, stating “Aren't you a woman? Aren’t you even worried about getting a scar? “City Hunter” is based on the popular Japanese manga by Hojo Tsukasa and is the manga’s first drama adaptation. Protagonist Lee Yoon Sung works in the Blue House National Communications Team to spy on the President and his advisors. His ultimate goal is to hunt down the “group of five” who were responsible for his biological father’s (Park Sang Min) unjust death. “City Hunter” airs every Wednesday-Thursday night on SBS at 9:55PM KST.

Actor Lee Min Ho is currently in the hospital after an accident occurred while filming “City Hunter.” It’s been said that Lee Min Ho was filming a driving scene when he was involved in a car accident that wrecked his vehicle. Currently, he’s in the hospital for various checkups.

Reps at his agency stated, "He's in the hospital for various checkups. We are still waiting for various test results."

Both Lee Min Ho and a crew member, who was also in the vehicle at the time of the accident, have been moved to the local hospital for various checkups. Lee Min Ho's car crashed into a parked one-ton truck. The truck belongs to a subcontractor hired by the Ilsan District Office to water plants throughout the city and was parked in the street as its workers were completing their tasks.

A representative of his agency stated, "He's in the hospital for checkups. We are still waiting for test results." All filmings have been momentarily halted.

Lee Min Ho returns to the ‘City Hunter’ set, just a day after his car accident





It’s only been a day since Lee Min Ho got into a car accident, but the actor is back on set to continue filming for SBS’s “City Hunter“.



A representative revealed, “Despite the severity of the accident, Lee Min Ho is back on the film set. The producers advised him to stay home and rest, but he was determined to get back and continue from where he left off.”



He continued, “Lee Min Ho received emergency care and an examination after his accident on June 13th, and results have shown that he is not injured and that it would be okay for him to return to filming. Producer Hong Chong Chan, who was also involved in the car accident, is preparing for his discharge as well.”



The representative went on to explain how the accident came about. “The accident that occurred on the 13th wasn’t from a chase or an action scene, but is part of the one main scenes that will be broadcast on the 16th. It happened while we were filming ‘Yoon Sung’ inside of a speeding car.”

Actor Lee Min-ho resumes filming for drama

Actor Lee Min-ho got into a car accident yesterday but is healthy enough to continue filming his ongoing TV series "City Hunter."

A car Lee had been in while shooting a scene where he is driving, crashed and got partially wrecked in the front, the show's promoter 3HW.Com explained through a press release on Tuesday.

Lee suffered no major external injuries however, and immediately received thorough medical examination at a hospital as a precautionary measure, 3HW said.

Producers had advised him to rest but he returned to set today to resume filming of the show, added 3HW.

In "City Hunter," based on a popular Japanese comic of the same name, Lee plays Lee Yoon-sung who vows to get revenge on his father's death by following through a plan which begins with him working at the Blue House after receiving his doctorate from MIT.

The show, also starring Park Min-young, Gu Hara, Lee Jun-hyuk and Hwang Sun-hee, is a collaboration by famed producer Jin Hyuk of hit dramas "Brilliant Legacy" and "Princess Prosecutor" and scenarist Hwang Eun-kyung of "New Hit" and "The President."

A 20-part series in total, "City Hunter" has fared well so far, staying the No. 2 show in the Wednesday and Thursday primetime lineup and its ratings seeing constant gains every week.
