Park Sung-woong joins Yoo Seung-ho in SBS’s legal thriller Remember

Well, if I know anything about dramaland, it’s that Park Sung-woong (Hidden Identity) makes everything better. He’s the latest addition to SBS’s new legal thriller drama Remember, the one that’s courting Yoo Seung-ho to headline. Between these two, there’s just going to be a whole lot of smoldering going on in this drama.

The new Wednesday-Thursday series comes from award-winning writer Yoon Hyun-ho of the film The Attorney and PD Lee Chang-min of Birth of a Beauty (and second PD on Midas and Giant). It tells the story of a lawyer with hyperthymesia, a condition characterized by excessively detailed memory. Yoo Seung-ho is up for the lead role, a genius lawyer who learns to use his hyper-memory abilities to his advantage, despite their usually debilitating nature.

His father gets framed in a conspiracy plot and sentenced to death, so Yoo Seung-ho becomes a lawyer in order to clear Dad’s name. As he sets out to work the case, he’ll not only be racing against the clock to beat the death sentence, but also his own fading memory, the reasons for which aren’t clear yet. The drama will be about his race to prove Dad’s innocence before he loses all of his memories.

Park Sung-woong will play a lawyer as well — a man with a thick Kyungsangdo accent who became a lawyer for loan shark mobsters in order to escape a life of extreme poverty. But he rises above that life and becomes a lawyer at a law firm that saves people’s lives. He’s a dogged, resourceful character who always accomplishes what he sets out to do, and is a weed-like survivor with animal instincts.

The two characters will meet while working Dad’s case, and will both get swept up in the larger conspiracy at play. Park Sung-woong also carries a secret that Yoo Seung-ho doesn’t know, which will greatly affect how the two handle the case, causing tension and friction at every turn. It sounds like a tense plot with fleshed-out characters, each with their own conflicting backstories and motivations. And in the hands of two very capable, charismatic actors, I’ll probably be glued to my screen.

Cho Hae-jung to costar with Yoo Seung-ho

Cho Hae-jung, better known as Cho Jae-hyun’s daughter, will costar with Yoo Seung-ho in MBC’s new drama titled “Imagine Cat,” according to anonymous insiders in the broadcasting industry.

In the drama, Oh Na-woo (Cho Hae-jung), who suffered the tragedy of losing her cherished cat in childhood, falls in love with Hyun Jong-hyun (Yoo Seung-ho), who is a cartoonist and part-time worker at a bookstore.

The drama is modeled on a popular Web cartoon that deals with the story of cats and human beings living together.

Cho first made her public appearance as Cho Jae-hyun’s daughter in SBS’ variety show “Please Take Care of My Dad” this year, and received several proposals to star in dramas during the broadcast. She is currently taking part in the dramas “Alchemists” and “Because It’s the First Time.”

“Imagine Cat” will hit the airwaves in November.

Woah... why do I feel sad and happy at the same time for MBC Every 1 "Imaginary Cat"? Initially I thought oh Seung Ho will be alone with his cat... I love that selfish thinking then sis @hyelin posted the leading lady as Cho Hye Jung she looks sweet, have not come across her acting... but will be looking forward to this on line.

Side note... Actor Park Sung Woong is a very likable man... Watched him in Entertainment, sEction TV and other shows promoting his projects.

There is also news that Nam Goong Min will join cast of REMEMBER.

Is that actor the same as the one who was in WGM ? Nam Goong Min ?

He was in "The Girl Who Sees Smells" ...... Noooo she does not smell bad! ok not too funny! His character is scary as Kwon Jae-hee (2015 SBS). I've enjoyed that drama

There was news that he will be in the Chinese movie, Moonlit Motive.

Me too sis @eve I have a mixture feeling of happiness and sadness. Don't worry, in fact not only us feel like that. Many Seung Ho fans felt that it is better to just watch YSH and his cat.
Please don't fall in love with that girl because of the cat, Seung Ho ha ha ha just kidding that is your own right, but we hope not. Sorry for our selfish thought ha ha ha ha

Nam Goong Min ?
I have ever watched him in The Girl Who Sees Smells" too. He is great in acting and so hot too. If he could join YSH in Remember drama is good. He could be YSH rival or the criminal. Let us see later, he is gonna join Seung Ho or not.
I thought the director is really selective in choosing the actors and actresses in Remember drama. Can't wait to see more news to come
