The objective of this thread is to help each other learning Hangul. Hopefully this thread will be an interactive thread in terms of introducing new words/vocabs or grammar. Please use as simple language as possible.

In near future, hopefully our community would be able to interact more effectively with our Shin Hye.

Congratulations for being able to read Hangul!!!

Lets continue with new vocabs and also grammar! Maybe synonyms and antonyms or anything. We may also discuss about a drama line or a line of lyrics.

Hopefully we will enjoy the learning curve of Hangul. It's never too late to learn

I'm personally struggling to even understand hangul. Quite interesting language. The greeting I know to confidently say is Annyeonghaseyo and stammers afterwards when spoken to in korean.

This is great! i've been learning to speak korean for a few months now but my progress is really slow coz i dont really have anyone to practice with.. anyways.. i need more reading materials.. is there some kind of KOREAN Grammar book for super begginers out there? and in PDF?

I think for those of us that speak an Asian language will be a little easier to learn Korean....there are many similar words : )
I started learning Korean when I was in 9th grade *thanks to Super Junior....haha*
but that's the only time i got *serious* about it, as in I bought books and study by myself....
then bamm in 10th, 11th and 12th i just got so busy and i let it go......as in i'm not study it like i used to be anymore.....i will just listen to k-pop, or watch variety shows without subs, go karaoke (or in Korean, ??? - literally translation is 'music room') ^^

i wish i can go to classes, because classes have teacher and they gives out tests and quizzes......that way helps you to study....then i'm sure by now 4 years later i will almost fluent...i pick up languages fast...my Korean friends also said that I have perfect Seoul accent.....haha

I will definitely try to learn some Korean, but then I feel kinda bad because my Japanese sucks.
