Lee Hong Ki cried because his girlfriend dumped him?



During the filming of KBS 2TV’s “Happy Birthday“ (aired on October, 4th), F.T. Island’s Lee Hong Ki revealed a painful story of his girlfriend breaking up with him.

Hong Ki confessed, ‘When I was a trainee, I had a girlfriend, but because of our hectic practice schedule, I couldn’t see her a lot. My girlfriend broke up with me. The shock from the break-up made me cry.‘

Leader Choi Jong Hoon added, ‘He cried a lot. He lay on the floor and cried. He wanted to quit being a trainee, and it was very hard for him to prevent that from happening… I also had an experience where I cried after breaking up with a girlfriend during middle school. It hurt so much I couldn’t eat.‘

SBS teams up with TBS to hold “Seoul Tokyo Music Festival 2010″



A huge event has just been announced! Big Bang, KARA, 4minute, 2NE1, FTIsland, CNBlue, Brown Eyed Girls, U-KISS, Rainbow, and Teen Top will all be headlining a concert in Japan.

In celebration of SBS’s 20th anniversary, SBS will be collaborating with Japan’s TBS to open the “2010 Seoul Tokyo Musical Festival.” Broadcast companies from both nations have combined their strengths to help promote the Korean singers that are attempting to enter the Japanese market.

A total of ten idol groups will be on stage together November 3rd at the Saitama Super Arena. The performances will air in both Korea and Japan on the 12th as a special episode, along with a 3-D production of the concert.

An SBS contents representative stated, “We will be working hard and collaborating with not only Japanese companies but other broadcast companies in Bangkok, Taiwan, and other parts of Asia in order to help Korean artists succeed.”

F.T Island Releases 3 “So Today” Album Covers



Earlier this month, the boys of F.T Island released the MV teaser for their upcoming Japanese single “So Today.” Complete with 3 brand new tracks, the album is set for a release date of November 17 under Warner Music Japan.
To keep the hype going for them, the group has recently released the three covers that will be released under the normal edition, limited edition A and limited edition B. There’s not much difference between the three covers and they all seem to follow the relatively simple trend.

Lee Hongki “These days girls easily cry” an unexpected remark?



[TV Report writer Hwang Leenhae] FTIsland’s Lee Hongki showed what he really thought about women’s tears.

On the 4th, on the aired variety KBS 2TV programmme Happy Birthday, talked about “There are a lot of woman who use tears as a weapon. They always try crying” and Lee Hongki said something that attracted everybody’s attention. That day was the day where men had honestly agreed about ‘If a woman feels like she’s losing, they will cry’.

The female guests said “Crying is the best way to say sorry”, “We don’t cry because we’re losing” “If you fiercely attack us, we cry” and showed their opinions to reveal their innocence. But then Lee Hongki strongly objected to them with “These days there’s a lot of people who can act (cry) well. These days girls easily cry”.

The male guests strongly supported Lee Hongki’s opinion. Especially actor Lee Gaein praised him with “Your future is your perspective” and he made everybody laugh in the studio. But Jung Shiah and Kim Saerom suspects that Lee Hongki has “met an actor” because of his strong reaction.

Also, on that day, Lee Hongki unexpectedly acted, pushing his girlfriend until she confessed that she was cheating, really well. Kim Saerom, who acted as his girlfriend, asked Lee Hongki to wipe her tears but Hongki bursted out “I won’t wipe it! Wipe it yourself!” with anger and the male guests were cheering him.

On this day’s airing, DJ DOC’s Jung Jaeyong, FTIsland’s Lee Hongki, Choi Jonghoon, Lee Jungseob, Choi Dongseok, Lee Yeongha, Lee Gaein, Jeon Hyunmoo, Woo Jongwan, Seo Beomseok, 2AM’s Jungjinwoon, Kim Bosung, Lee Hyejung, Ahn Jingyeong, Jung Shiah and Kim Saerom attended the show to debate strongly, about the difference between men and women’s minds.

F.T. Island is back with new pictures!



FT Island is back with new pictures of themselves with an appeal of Litmus. They just had a new photo shoot for the winter 2010 collection.

In August, the band released their song “Love Love Love” from their album “Beautiful Journey” and it was really successful.

Through their successful comeback, FT Island displayed such a fresh look and new fashions for winter.

Without losing their classy and boyish image, the boys of FT Island make their fashion statements by wearing top hats and glasses to look cooler.

FT Island covering Kim Jung Min’s “Sad Promise (슬픈 언약식)” for the TWENTYth Urban album and well, nostalgia hit hard.
