I'm glad that they have individual activities. I am loving the collaboration/parody between FT Island's Song Seung Hyun and comedian/singer Song Eun Yi of Trouble Maker n ur right, their song Two Song Place is catchy, upbeat n easy to remember. The pairing is quite cute! I was able to catch it on KBS world

FT Island’s Seung Hyun confessed that he feels a sense of rivalry with the agency’s other band group, CN Blue.

February 11’s broadcast of Mnet’s Beatles Code 3D invited over Two Song Place’s Seung Hyun and Song Eun I and Brown Eyed Girls’ Gain as special guests.

As the show’s name 3D stands for Dangerous, Direct and Diss, the MCs threw some harsh questions at the guests, with some of them being those related to CN Blue.

When asked if he feels any sense of rivalry with CN Blue, Seung Hyun confessed, “Yes, I do.”

“But the rivalry comes from the fact that they are a band, like us,” added the FT Island member. “The other members might have different thoughts though. I know that leader hyung is jealous of them.”

Seung Hyun also caught the attention that day by revealing that he was cast into SM by getting picked up on the street. He shared that he received a name card from an SM manager at a fireworks celebration when he was in middle school and went for the audition, but gave up right before signing a contract.

good move on FT Island’s Seung Hyun's part to be apprehensive. This will scare me too "give up rights to my body" it's like you will loose ur identity and self, like a product.

Although FT Island and CNBlue are label mates, the later group is getting more exposure for concerts n so on n it follows more popular. The feeling of rivalry is 'healthy' it keeps them on their toes so to speak, to be more creative, more ideas, more lyrics n songs.. but not to a point of hardship/burden but more to gratification in the end.

FT Island genre of music is pop/rock. I love listening to their songs. Fighting !!

FTISLAND Confirmed To Appear On Japan NHK ‘One Point Hangul Lesson’

Group FTISLAND has been casted for the Japan NHK show, "One Point Hangul Lesson" and teach Korean.

The group held a press conference on February 17 in Shibuya and revealed that they would be appearing on NHK "One Point Hangul Lesson" starting on March 31.
Today, Japan media released news of their appearance on the show and that the members were more than excited to be a part of it.

FTISLAND vocal Lee Hong Ki commented, "We taught some easy to memorize Korean in a fun way."
On the other hand, FTISLAND released their 12th Japan single, Beautiful, as well as their tour concert DVD and ranked in the top 10 on the Oricon chart.
