[spoiler] CNBLUE’s Jungshin captures viewers with his tears on ‘My Daughter Seoyoung’




CNBLUE‘s Jungshin has successfully transformed into an actor.

The bassist is currently playing the part of the youngest son, ‘Kang Sung Jae’, on KBS‘ ‘My Daughter Seoyoung‘. He has managed to capture the audience with his tears on the most recent episode.

On the October 14th broadcast, Sung Jae (Jungshin) comforts his mother (Kim Hye Ok), who is disappointed by her oldest son Woo Jae (Lee Sang Yoon). In the scene, Sung Jae kneels before his mother and says: “Mom, I’m still here for you. Until the day you die, you’ll be my number 1. I won’t meet a woman who I love as much as I love you. I’ll introduce you to my girlfriend in advance, and if you say no, I’ll cut her on the spot.”

In response, his mother, who can barely contain her tears, tells him not to lie. Tears also fill Sung Jae’s eyes as he watches his mother. Finally, Sung Jae says, “I probably won’t be able to meet a woman I love more than you, Mom.”

The particular scene seems to have pulled on viewers’ heartstrings. Did you watch the episode?

CNBLUE to Hold 4th Exclusive Concert in Korea

Rock band CNBLUE is hyping up their fans by announcing the launch of their fourth exclusive concert in Korea.

FNC Entertainment said in a press release Wednesday that the “Hey You” singers are embarking on their yet-to-be-titled concert with the first stop at the Handball Stadium in Seoul’s Olympic Park on December 15 and 16.

Having a lot on their plate this year, the band has concurrently been hosting their Japan tour, dubbed “CNBLUE Arena Tour 2012~ COME ON~,” which kicked off in Nagoya on October 2. The saitama leg is opening this weekend.

Composed of Jung Yong-hwa, Lee Jung-shin, Kang Min-hyuk and Lee Jong-hyun, CNBLUE made their debut in 2009 as an indie rock band in Japan with the debut album "Now or Never." In 2010, they into the local music scene with their first EP album "Bluetory" in 2010.

CNBLUE has since released a slew of hit singles and albums and expanded their careers into acting with roles in the small and big screen.

PD of ‘My Daughter Seoyoung’ reveals his thoughts on Jungshin’s acting and singing ability

Yoo Hyun Ki PD of ‘My Daughter Seoyoung‘ recently discussed his honest thoughts on CNBLUEJungshin‘s singing and acting ability.

The PD joked, “During one of the scenes, he sang Kim Min Ki’s ‘Autumn Letter’ to his mom, actress Kim Hye Ok. I thought to myself ‘Yup, he is definitely the bassist of CNBLUE’. His singing really was not as good as I thought it might be.”

However, he then went on to reveal that despite his lacking singing skills, Jungshin was able to touch the heart of Kim Hye Ok actress. “When Jungshin sang, Kim Hye Ok shed tears. I thought to myself ‘Even if an individual can’t sing, he can still touch the heart of a woman’. I realized that the thing that touch women and make them cry is not skill, but rather the situation and the emotions behind the individual singing. Men these days need to take note of that,” he said.

On Jungshin’s first attempt at acting, the PD honestly answered, “It is true that until this point, his acting is still quite awkward. But acting is not something that develops overnight. If that was the case, anyone would be able to do it. However, Jungshin shows everything that he’s prepared while on set. There are some who can’t even get through half of the load they’ve been given, so in that aspect, I am proud and regard Jungshin highly.”

CNBLUE’s 1st Arena Tour in Japan attracts over 100,000 fans

CNBLUE held a successful concert in front of 100,000 fans at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan for their ‘CNBLUE Arena Tour 2012-COME ON‘ tour.

During their first arena tour concert on October 21, the group performed a total of 26 songs including their latest single, “Come On“, and their Japanese debut single, “In My Head“.

Jonghyun stated, “We produced an arena tour for everyone who has waited to hear our songs.” Yonghwa also shared, “Although we’ve been busy with our solo activities, I feel like we’re CNBLUE when we perform on stage together as four members.”

CNBLUE will continue to perform in six cities across Japan during their tour. They’re also set to perform their fourth solo concert at the Seoul Olympic Park Handball Stadium on the 15th and 16th of December.
