CNBLUE brings Love with special stages on M! Countdown

To commemorate Mnet M! Countdown’s 200th episode special, many special performances were held, and CNBLUE was one of the idol groups to participate.

The boys took on quite the amount of songs including Rain’s It’s Raining, 2NE1’s I Don’t Care, G-Dragon’s Heartbreaker, and Taeyang’s Look At Meand did a spectacular job performing each and every one of them!

CNBLUE always does a great job in adding some rock to popular songs, and with these performances, there is no exception! Check them all out below.

CNBLUE is quite popular in Taiwan recently. Remember BlueLove climbs to #2 on the Taiwan music charts? So they're featured in many Taiwan magazines. There may not be exclusive pictures but they get the photos from legitimate sources and so the picture quality is great. These magazines are imported to my place. Have bought a bunch and scanned some pages.

Prologue
CNBLUE had an interview and cover photoshoot for TRENDY Idol Magazine irrespective of their hectic schedule.
They revealed their rarely seen sides that are so different from what they appear on stage . . .

DATE WITH CNBLUE

To match the concept of CNBLUE’s second mini-album BLUE LOVE, TRENDY especially planned this photoshoot theme as: Date with CNBLUE. This is to suit the title track ‘Love’ and reveal the romantic and lovely sides of CNBLUE as well.
Because of the weather and time limit, we could not go outdoors to take photos about CNBLUE’s dream dates. But TRENDY had prepared some cute props so as to create some romantic moods. Unexpectedly, these cute props became CNBLUE’s toys when they had rests between the photoshoot sessions. They liked playing with the toys so much that the photographer was able to capture their rarely seen expressions and some real funny moments.

Minhyuk’s Amusement Park Dream Date

As the drummer, Minhyuk is always at the back of the stage during performance. But Minhyuk’s lovely smiles and cool play with his drumsticks have captured the fans’ hearts. When one sees Minhyuk with warm smiles holding the blue heart-shaped balloons and standing in front of the camera, one can feel the happy mood when he dates his dream girl in the amusement park. A date with Minhyuk who holds lovely heart-shaped balloons. Whenever he smiles his bashful smiles, it’s like you can hear their song ‘Love’ in the background, and you can follow him into the world of fairy tales.

During the photoshoot, however, the balloons didn’t ‘listen’ to Minhyuk at all and were giving him a hard time. With the help of crew members, the naughty balloons were finally made steady. Then Minhyuk seemed to be influenced by the naughty balloons and he kept making naughty poses. He even put the balloons on his head, pretending them to be bunny ears. So his hair was all messed up and his shirt had a few folds. The stylist had to busily fix everything. Stylist noona was angry but couldn’t help smiling at the same time.

Calm and Caring Minhyuk
Minhyuk has the cutest baby face and is thus always mistaken as the magnae. Actually he’s the most trusted among the members and he takes care of everybody.
When TRENDY was asking questions during the interview, he tried to answer questions on behalf of Yonghwa who had a hoarse voice. When his bandmates coughed, he passed water to them quietly. During rest periods when the other three were playing and laughing hard, he avoided the war zone and stood aside watching them with smiles. He even calmed them down when the fights got too wild.

Flower Boy Jonghyun’s True Face
Jonghyun, who always wears this ‘killing smile’ on his face, is actually a boy who really loves to laugh. He’s the pleaser of CNBLUE. Jonghyun doesn’t deliberately make others laugh. It’s just that he has this totally natural in-born sense of humor and ability to amuse others underneath his flower boy look. Whenever Yonghwa said something, he casually added a few words. Though they’re talking about very ordinary things, Jonghyun’s words could just make everybody laugh out loud. A very little thing could make him laugh happily. Everybody just couldn’t help grinning seeing his happy face.

Jonghyun’s Runaway Chocolate

Jonghyun was humming a song when it’s his turn for the photoshoot. The smiles flooding on his face are sweeter than the chocolate he’s holding. His smiles make one feel so sweet and happy.
Jonghyun, Burning of CNBLUE, is not just the guitarist, he’s the vocalist with a very different voice from Yonghwa’s. With this charming voice and ‘killing smiles’, he just dreams to have a very ordinary date just like everybody else.

Jonghyun is always so cool and handsome on stage. It seems there’s this distance between him and others. Actually he’s just a big boy who likes to smile. He was holding a box of chocolate for photo taking, and he had this look of ‘can’t help wanting to steal a piece and eat it’ on his face. Even the photographer couldn’t help smiling shaking his head. Though Jonghyun never intended to throw jokes, funny things kept happening during the photo taking. The photographer asked Jonghyun to place the box of chocolate next to his cheek. His happy face was melting everybody around. But he’s a member of this ‘coughing army’ and suddenly coughed a few coughs. At that particular moment, a piece of chocolate fell from the box as his coughs had shaken the box. Then we heard Jonghyun shouted, “Oh, no!”, and he immediately ran to catch the ‘runaway’ chocolate and put it back into the box. This accident created a roar of laughter and the three other CNBLUE members laughed most loudly.
Maybe the runaway chocolate had made Jonghyun a little nervous. When the photographer asked him to put the box of chocolate on his chest near his heart, he suddenly said, “The heart is on the left… or on the right… Ah… should be on the left!” He felt embarrassed saying the above and then smiled. His bandmates just wouldn’t let go and laughed at him, teasing his ignorance. They made it such a big deal!

CNBLUE’s Romantic Magnae

Though Jungshin is the magnae, he’s the tallest. Jungshin is quiet and doesn’t talk much. Even his smiles seem shy. But he has a unique charm, a tenderness not seen in magnaes of other groups. Jungshin’s dream date is a walk on a fine day, holding his love’s hand, on streets with lots of trees or in a park with lovely scenery. It’s so simple but romantic at the same time.

Maybe it’s because of Jungshin’s tall body, the present with white ribbon looked so much smaller when it’s on his hands. The shy Jungshin was having a hard time making good poses for photos. Seeing his disturbed face, TRENDY couldn’t help but suggest, “Imagine the girl you like is right in front of you and you’re giving the present to her.” With this suggestion, however, he was even more unsure to do. (TRENDY OS: Jungshin~ sorry~) Nevertheless, Jungshin was able to make super handsome poses and even the photographer said the pictures were awesome! CNBLUE’s romantic magnae was doing so well!

Sensitive Jungshin
Maybe because he’s so tall, people keep forgetting he’s the youngest in CNBLUE. Despite being quiet and with few words, Jungshin actually observes everything around carefully. Unlike other members who greeted me enthusiastically, he just said softly with a bashful smile, “I remember you!” He was really very cute.

Yonghwa and the Best Actress?

Fans hate it and love it. Yonghwa recently joined the popular reality TV show We Got Married and became a married man. Yonghwa thought for a long time until he made up his mind about his dream date. It’s to have a vacation with his love overseas or just to have coffee outside. According to Yonghwa, it doesn’t matter what they will do. If they can create some beautiful memories out of it, it’s the most awesome date!

That day, Yonghwa had a cold and was feeling unwell. He continuous coughing and hoarse voice worried me so much. But his collaboration with the ‘actress’ during the photo shoot wasn’t affected a bit! When Yonghwa first saw the ‘actress’, all sorts of happy expressions appeared on his face. When he held the ‘actress’ tight in his arms, it was like he’s making an MV for ‘Love Light’! TRENDY couldn’t help thinking: this little white bear plush toy, the actress, would be so envied!
The moment Leader Yonghwa saw the little white bear, his playfulness just exploded. First, he held the little white bear in ways without any romantic feeling and everybody said his poses were too lame. Then the photographer asked him to look right into the eyes of the bear with their noses touching each other. Naughty Yonghwa couldn’t stop laughing and had got to do the pose over and over again. It’s his own fault but he blamed the bear for having such a flat nose. Naughty Yonghwa even pretended to be mad at the bear and hit her. But when his hand fell on the little bear, it’s just a very light touch. He was asked to hold one of the bear’s hands for a shot, but he said that would make the little bear look too sad. Yonghwa was revealing his tenderness unexpectedly. How can anybody not like him?

Yonghwa’s Unique Mixed-up Language
Probably it’s because CNBLUE have activities in both Korea and Japan, and they met TRENDY who speaks Mandarin. During the recording of the first anniversary celebration message for TRENDY magazine, Yonghwa kept mixing up all the languages. In one of the takes, he said, “XXXXX (Korean), we’re CNBLUE XX (Japanese).” Just as the words came out of his mouth, Yonghwa himself was shocked and slapped his own face. Then he just laughed out loud. The three dongsengs beside him had actually laughed so hard that they couldn’t sit straight.

Unstoppable Playfulness
CNBLUE’s understanding among each other is so perfect that they don’t even have to communicate with words. When TRENDY was interviewing them, I could see them co-operating perfectly, just with Yonghwa’s looks and not-so-obvious gestures. It’s like what they said, their understanding wasn’t trained but formed naturally out of their everyday band practices and living together.
As they heard we wanted them to show their natural and lovely sides in the photoshoot, the four CNBLUE boys changed their suits into casual clothes. That very act just switched on their playful selves. The naughtiest among all was Leader Yonghwa. He imitated the others’ expressions when they had their photos and made them laugh. He himself couldn’t stop laughing when it’s his turn and made all crew members laugh almost rolling on the floor. When the photographer asked him to make a ‘cute sunshine’ expression, he deliberately overdid it. His three dongsengs told him straight, shaking their heads, “Your expression is like the auntie next door! Not cute at all.”

The War over Little White Bear

During rest periods, what did CNBLUE do? They didn’t just play with the balloons like kids and fought over them. When the prop, little white bear, appeared in the venue, there was this ‘War Over Little White Bear’.
It’s like they had planned all of it. They used all means to steal the little white bear from each other in turn. When Jonghyun was humming a song and reading a copy of TRENDY magazine, Minhyuk quietly moved the little white bear from Jonghyun’s lap to his own. He then had a dancing game with her. When Jonghyun noticed it, it’s his turn to take photos and had to let Minhyuk have the bear. Minhyuk was worried that his bear would be stolen, so he wouldn’t let the bear lie around. He was holding it even when he’s checking out his own photos on the computer.
But there’s a time when he forgot. He stood up from the sofa to let Stylist noona fix his clothes. Jungshin discovered the little bear lying on the sofa and grabbed it right away. Just when Jungshin was happy that he could finally hold the little bear, Yonghwa sat right over his lap and tried to get the little bear from him. The war between the leader and magnae of CNBLUE over the little bear officially began.

However…the win and lose hadn’t been decided yet, it’s Jungshin’s turn to take photos. Yonghwa was so happy that the bear was passed to him. As he was talking to the manager, the bear vanished from his hands. It happened that Jonghyun had his photoshoot section over and he came over to snatch the bear when Yonghwa wasn’t paying attention.

Everybody must be so envious of this little toy bear that was so loved by CNBLUE! You may be even more envious about this: the little bear followed CNBLUE home.

Seohyun and Yonghwa's Drivers Licence ID Photo revealed



"Sweet Potato" couple Seohyun and Yonghwa's ID photo's revealed!

On the 17th broadcast of MBC variety show "We got married" Seohyun and Yonghwa were preparing to acquire their drivers licence. They have been practicing and also studying for the written exam.

When they went to get an application, it was obvious that Seohyun was enthusiastic to get her drivers licence, in the process, they had to take ID photo's for their licence.

The two got their photo's taken and the outcome sparked a lot of interest from viewers. Seohyun looked like a little kid with a lot of innocence and pure charm and Yonghwa appeared with a strong charisma in his ID Photo.

Meanwhile, the two have been preparing for three days for their driving test and they have been studying really hard to pass the exam.

Jung YongHwa & Jo Kwon 1st MC appearance on SBS Ingikayo on July 18th

As previously reported, today on 18 July, CN Blue Jung YongHwa and 2AM Jo Kwon joined f(X) Sulli hosting SBS Inki Gayo for the first time as the new MC line up.

They even performed a New MC special performance in which Jung YongHwa acted as a DJ playing a track mixed by kingMCK, f(X) Sulli performing with Britney Spear’s Gimme More and last but not least 2AM Jo Kwon performed with Justin Timberlake’s Like I Love You!
