C.N. Blue’s Jung Yong Hwa says, “Seo Hyun’s support gives me energy”

On March 21st, CNBlue had a press conference for their first full album “First Step.” The members were asked questions about their new album as well as about Seo Hyun of Girls' Generation.

Jung Yong Hwa stated, “At first, Seo Hyun said she’ll come to the press conference to support our new album. But when I mentioned that the event will be more of a guerilla concert with fans, she said she’ll send her heart instead. Even though our pretend marriage is over, we’re still there for each other.”

Even fellow C.N. Blue members were surprised to see Jung Yong Hwa’s romantic side on “We Got Married.” Bassist Jung Shin confessed, “It was strange. I didn’t know he could be a romantic.” After his experiences as a husband, Jung Yong Hwa said, “I believe the key to marriage is doing everything you can for your spouse without regret.”

Jung Yong Hwa and Seo Hyun have been a pretend married couple for about a year and have decided to leave “We Got Married” because of their busy schedules.

Is CN Blue Jung Yonghwa Done Wearing His Wedding Ring?

Netizens spotted something missing on CN Blue’s leader, Jung Yonghwa’s finger during the press conference for CN Blue’s new album release at Seoul Yeongdeunpo Times Square on March 21st. It was none other than the YongSeo couple ring.

As he was holding a microphone during the press conference, netizens discovered that Jung Yonghwa no longer wears his couple ring, the emblem of him and Seohyun, the Goguma couple who ‘tied their knot’ on MBC’s ‘We Got Married (WGM)’.

According to the producer, the recording of the last episode took place on the 14th and in just a week after that, the ring was nowhere to be seen on Yonghwa’s finger.

The couple rings were purchased when the couple first met on WGM while they were on a date in Shindang-dong. Towards the end of the YongSeo series, they took wedding photos for their first (and also the last) anniversary.

Since both of them has to fulfill their busy schedules as artistes, they had to end their ‘marriage’ on WGM which started in February 2010.

It’s An ‘All Kill’ for CN Blue!






One of the hottest bands in Korean music scene, CN BLUE, just released their first full album “First Step“. And guess what?

Less than 24 hours of their release, their album has climbed it’s way to top the charts!

Aside from the nearly 10,000 pre-order sales, they are now claiming the top hot spots on online music charts such as Melon, Cyworld etc.

But wait there’s MORE! CN BLUE also secured their no. 1 spot when it comes to album sales as affirmed by various offline music charts.

Their album is now announced to be an “All Kill” and they definitely deserve it. Three of their songs including “러브 걸(Love Girl)” “Imagine” and their carrier single “Intuition” is now stated to be the top three most powerful songs on their album.

CN BLUE also held their guerilla concert at Times Square in front of 4,000 fans on the same day they’ve released their album.

CNBLUE’s Kang Min Hyuk was almost cast for “You’re Handsome”





CNBLUE’s Kang Min Hyuk revealed a story of changed fate while making an appearance on the November 30th episode of SBS’s “Strong Heart.”

He began, “I received an opportunity to audition for a Korean drama one day. I had to basically rival with Jung Yong Hwa for a role in SBS’s ‘You’re Handsome.’ We practiced acting with each other and I was definitely better than him at acting. In fact, Yong Hwa-hyung had a very awkward time with it, so I was sure that the opportunity would bend in my favor. I felt that I’d be able to become a somebody if I received the ‘Kang Shin Woo’ role.”

He continued, “I was devastated when I heard that Yong Hwa-hyung got the role while in Japan. I started crying and begging our CEO to give me another chance because I was so hurt. I later heard from the director that my cute image didn’t fit with the ‘Kang Shin Woo’ character, which was why he chose Yong Hwa-hyung. I was really upset every time I read articles calling Yong Hwa-hyung ‘towel man’ or ‘milk man.’ I always thought that it was my spot.”

SNSD’s Sooyoung, who had been listening on, added her own story in order to console him, “Originally, Park Ha Sun’s role in the movie ‘Fool‘ was mine. But if I had done that role, I don’t think I could’ve joined SNSD. I think that everyone has their own time and place.”

CNBLUE gets an all-kill with “Intuition"

CNBLUE recently released their first full-length album, “First Step“, after a long hiatus. But despite the delay, fans can’t seem to get enough of the fabulous foursome – their title track, “Intuition“, has achieved an all-kill on Korea’s major online music charts!

The boys have already reached #1 on Melon, Bugs, Dosirak, and Cyworld, and it seems that they’ll be continuing to hold that position for a little while yet, as they will only kick off their official comeback promotions through music programs from this week onwards.

The album is also flying high in offline sales as well, with over 10,000 pre-orders made for “First Step”.

Korean rock band CNBLUE member Kang Min-hyuk has said he has been cast in a new MBC TV series starring leader Jung Yong-hwa.

Kang made the remark during a press conference marking the release of the band’s first full-length album “FIRST STEP” held in Seoul, South Korea on Monday in response to a reporter asking about each member’s recent activities.

“I’ll be taking on the role of Yeo Jun-hee in the upcoming drama ‘Festival’ with Jung Yong-hwa,” Kang said. “I hope that I’ll get the chance to show that I have grown as an actor.”

Kang has appeared on both the small and big screen before including in daily series “I’m Okay Daddy” and omnibus film “Acoustic.”

Meanwhile, the group went onto to explain how they all took part in writing, composing and arranging nine out of a total 12 tracks on the album and introduced several of the songs as well as revealing the music video for title track “Intuition” for the first time ever from “FIRST STEP” which went on sale today.

“We shot the music video in Japan and it was a lot of fun even though it took all night to do so,” Jung said, while the other members spoke about how they liked how cool they looked in the video.

Composed of other members Lee Jung-shin and Lee Jong-hyun, CNBLUE made their debut in Korea early last with their hit single “Alone” and mini-album “Bluetory” after releasing two singles in Japan.

They shot to instant fame in Korea with Jung’s appearance in popular TV series “He is Beautiful” (SBS, 2009) alongside actors Jang Keun-suk, Park Shin-hye and Lee Hong-ki.

CNBLUE has also led a successful music career overseas, going double platinum in Taiwan and placing in the top ranks of the prestigious Oricon chart in Japan. They have also held several fan meetings and concerts in the country which were attended by several thousand fans.

Outside of their group activities, the boys have expanded their careers in the entertainment industry, appearing in dramas, movies and a number of variety shows.

The beloved ‘Sweet Potato’ couple from MBC’s ”We Got Married” will soon broadcast their last episodes together.

CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa and SNSD’s Seohyun were given the mission: ‘Present the other with the happiest day of their lives’.

According to staff, the two went to the bank in order to withdraw all the funds they had in their couple account, in order to finance their ‘Happy Day’. They met up again later at night to enjoy their last day as a ‘We Got Married’ couple.
