Thanks sis Sidy for the analysis. It's very helpful. All those info will help us in interpreting what really went on...not that we are obligated to interpret or that we would die if we didn't ha! ha! It's just nice to study human behavior and this is what got us hooked to 3MAD.
BTW this is a good time to watch the episodes of the first season...which I started last night. Taecyeon really seemed lost and confused, trying things out.. He's really done well since last year about this time when the show just got started he and LSJ (pls note it's not LJS, for that would be the Pinocchio lead) both germinated seeds and his barely survived...now they seem to be like seasoned farmers harvesting corn by crates & bags and earning lots of money to buy meat they like. In season 1 Ep 1 they were like begging for meat which they had to pay by harvesting sorghum. What a stark contrast. Taecyeon was right his cooking skills have improved...now there's no sand in their rice and he knows that rice has to be washed bfor cooking. He can also easily and quickly light a fire now as if it's second nature...unlike in the very first episode when it took him such a long time just making the match spark.
As I did post bfor contrary to Seo-jin's prediction the show didn't die out...it survived its program time and it did prove that one can eat healthy from what one grows. This was the show's theme and they accomplished it with lots of humor with different guests and even an unexpected "unofficial couple". LOL

All their actions and reactions are spontaneous and not scripted right?

Sis @elankham, I think the scriptwriters write the script or captions after the filming. I mean they have already the concept of cooking three meals a day and they have the resources in the backyard and if they want meat they have to barter to have it. The interaction of the cast and the guest are spontaneous, after the filming the PD Na and all of the staff will edit, put a background music like in epi.16, Taecyeon is humming the song "Need you now" by Lady Antebellum and they synchronized it with Taecyeon's "I need you now" part as we can see on the caption. That's what I think.

Hello Sis Sidy, just like Sis fgnuva, I am excited about your analysis of Taec's personality and his interactions with Shin Hye. If you are looking for some videos of Taec's to study, may I suggest that you watch his appearance in the show "Human Condition- How to relieve stress" episodes. Because in that show, he said that he was not the type of person who would be stressed and this was even seconded by his group member Chansung. I also learned from that show that Taec actually read books (real, physical, printed books not digital) before going to sleep and during his spare time and that what endeared him to me LIkewise, another video, but an old one, could be that of a prank with him as a target in their own show with the other 2PM members back when they just debuted. In that video, he was the emcee but was interrupted so many times of the his other members by hitting him hard ( I think more than 50 times), his hair was even tugged, shoulders licked and even spat on but he did not lose his temper even though he is the biggest in the group and can just easily flatten anyone of them

Also, you can watch the Taec and Shin Hye's emceeing together back in 2011. But during that time. PSH was also at the side of the youngest emcee Minho while Ok Bingu was always dancing and hyper

I think Taec is a guy who wear his heart on his sleeve, he is respectful but aloof to most celebrity girls,but defnitely not to PSH. Sorry for so many suggestions. I am going to wait for your analysis whether this boy is really an optimist or just plain silly

Hi Sis Badbat, I am so happy to read that you have started watching the first season of TMAD. I have been an avid watcher since last year, like what I said before this is show that I watch when I am homesick and I long for my family ( I live alone in my apartment) because it was all about food, cooking and then eating and enjoying the food together. Very heartwarming

and really the show is a novelty.During the first season most of their guests were the casts of Wonderful Days and Grandpas over flowers. And please do enjoy the OTPs between Taec and Mingki, LSJ and Jackson

Taec used to be so afraid of animals when they started TMAD but now he is the official "milker" of Jackson, Matilda's crush, and of course, the best protector of both Mingki and the pups ( it floored me in that episode after seeing Eddie and Sappie for the first time, he said that he would now look for a dog which looks like that, the dog responsible for Mingki's sufferings).

I agree wholeheartedly with you that Taecyeon wears his heart on his sleeves and his facial expressions are very revealing. I find body language is a plus when doing profiling. Thank you again - I will go and download your suggestions right now. I watched his stint on the WGM Global edition and it was obvious he was acting and following a general scripting of his interactions with his "wife". But it did help me to begin to build an impression.
I have been racking my brain to figure out a way to have my graduate students use TMAD in a short assignment. Among other things I find the interaction and social norms in TMAD fascinating. All my students know I am an avid Shin Hye fan and I was pleasantly surprised at the number who knew all about the band 2PM. Wish me luck.

Sis Sidy, it is my pleasure to suggest those videos With regard to the assignment, this is just a very random suggestion but perhaps how you can actually gauge a person's personality or chances of succeeding in life when is out of his comfort zone. Both Taec and LSJ are city men and now can be called respectable farmers. The guests are celebrities who are not used to farm life ( in fact, there is no decent toilet in the farm, not even one inside the house, just an outhouse, I really do wonder how the lady guests coped with that). Well, this is just a suggestion, a foolish one I think

Hi sis Marthcec 15, I will be joining you in Taec's thread soon, just haven't got the time to see ep15 of Assembly but the drama is getting exciting 2PM used to have a show perhaps you can look for those and of course, KBS "A Song for You" episode hosted by him and Khun and you can hear Taec's singing as per request of viewers, he kept saying he is not the singer in the group but Khun said people were requesting for you And if you have time check out his movie "Marriage Blues" which I think is included in the list of films to be shown in the Korean Movie Festival in the Philippines.
