Presently in Korean entertainment, Park Shin Hye is the hottest actress around. By working non-stop for the past two years, Shin Hye has starred in popular K-dramas, Pinocchio and Heirs, and praised K-movies, The Royal Tailor and The Beauty Inside. Needless to say, Shin Hye’s popularity also equates to the desires and expectations of her fans, especially when it comes to her love life.

Pertaining to her love life, there are two famous men in whom Park Shin Hye’s fans can see their favorite star with: Lee Jong Suk and Taecyeon. Eventually, the fact there are two choices would eventually bring up debate, ergo the question who is more fit to be Shin Hye’s “boyfriend?”

The touchy topic was tackled by KdramaStars in which they analyzed Park Shin Hye’s on-screen relationships with the two men. The comparison started with Lee Jong Suk since he’s been around Shin Hye before Taecyeon. Both of them first met on the set of Pinocchio playing the female and male leads respectively. Among the K-drama’s fans, one of the biggest reasons for its popularity was the acting chemistry Jong Suk and Shin Hye had. It seemed so natural how they worked in which their relationship was believable. Apparently, their chemistry is rumored to extend beyond the camera often stoked with rumors both Jong Suk and Shin Hye are dating.

Either they be working in the fields, cooking, or spending time together, Park Shin Hye and Taecyeon were expressing themselves in which they were on the verge of becoming a couple. Yet, it could be possible the love lines between the two might have been edited to display such because it wasn’t as prominent in their second episode together. Instead, they were more like comrades.
No matter how Park Shin Hye met these two men, one thing is clear: her fan base believe one of them would be great as her “boyfriend.” The question is, which one should it be? If not one of them, who would be better?

It's really easy and tempting to "guess into" the actions and words of entertainment personalities. We could infer they "like" each other or are "attracted" to each other based on their performances in scenes esp intimate scenes and scenes that supposedly require deep personal emotions. But as in any similar situation it's all just inferences from what we see and yes what we are "made" to see after it's been edited and packaged for public viewing.
Whether PSH developed feelings and then consequently "dated" her male lead, and is currently dating anyone, I guess only she and those really close to her know.
If her so-called "good chemistry" with our one and only (there'll be no one else like him I guess) Oksunbong bingu farmer-chef ever blossoms and extends beyond 3MAD we'll only know when news about that is released. If PSH's (& Taecyeon's too) agency contract includes a clause on keeping any "personal" info secret in view of maintaining popularity level, we'll be kept "in the dark". LMH risked it and there has been not much of him in the news lately. Without a doubt his popularity was affected and this is a factor for producers to consider. JGS had a little problem with taxes and his appearance in the fishing village season of 3MAD was edited out. It possibly also led to the limited time given for that edition. My point is since the entertainment industry relies heavily on fans like us they are all careful not to offend the public esp the followers. For once fans like us lose interest that might mean diminished production offers and opportunities. Ads and endorsements are gambles for producers who invest money in the hope their products will be patronized thanks to the popularity of the individuals who endorse them.
PSH has been lucky she has wide fan base that has stuck to her these past years. If ever she suffered lately it's possible it wasn't much and her agency and publicist have been quick in doing damage control. Her appearance in 3MAD buoyed up her popularity lately so she's being talked about again. I just hope the writers recognize her in her own right. She doesn't have to be linked to this or that guy just to be buzzed about in media.
In this case Taecyeon is safe because he's known as a 2PM member, he does drama too though maybe not as huge as PSH's or any of her leads, he's busy with his company and his studies plus he's always had a very straightforward demeanor with the press. What we see is what we get. As a star he might not yet be shining as bright as PSH nor her male leads, but Taecyeon is shining in his own brightness. I am one of those who came to know (and admire) him only thru 3MAD's guesting of PSH. Serendipitously. And it's something that might continue after 3MAD and even extend beyond his association with PSH. This is showbusiness we like to be entertained. Even if sometimes our tastes change. We'll just have to see what the stars and producers cook up next.
Meantime tonight's the last last episode of 3MAD let's support them till the end even if PSH is not around (I think if we know those men, they'll bring up PSH in the discussions.) Fighting!

Yes, you are right and I agree with you ... "we are made to see what we want to see". As what PSH has mentioned before that she will only reveal who her husband-to-be the day she is getting married so as to protect him therefore there will be denial after denial for her even if she is caught dating (I guess). Who she chooses to be her life partner is her choice and all we can do is wish her happiness.

The campus goddess is back! Actress Park Shin Hye was revealed to have gone back to school.

Her agency, SALT Entertainment, stated, "Park Shin Hye returned to school for this semester. For the time being, she plans to focus on school."

Park Shin Hye, who is in the Department of Theater and Film at Chungang University, finished her first semester of her fourth and final year in the spring of last year. However, since then, she has taken a year off. Now, she has her last semester to finish, so she plans to graduate in February!
