I think people who write these critical comments about Woo Bin and Shin Hye's characters are really missing the point of the characters because I think these people are not use to seeing "realistic" heroines hence they are critical. That is the sole reason why I love this series. The characters are realistic. No one is perfect as no one is as a human but we just try our best to survive everyday the best we can.

I do agree however that I don't feel the pace is fast enough. Sometimes I feel some scenes are really unnecessary and I wonder why they are in there. Rather, use those scenes to develop those secondary characters. I still don't feel the connection yet between our secondary characters and main characters.

i agree with ur insights..in real life it's natural for any girl in the same position to act the same. while watching the scene i too wanted eun sang to retaliate but the logic side of me understood her situation. eun sang is not up against a girl like rachel that she can simply fight, this is a bully we are talking about..a guy who can do something extreme like rape her or something! she has already seen what he did to the other kid who transferred (can't remember his name..joon hyang?)

On a side note, woo bin is an amazing actor. he creeps me out when he wants to..i even felt like going inside the screen and bitchslapping him during the scene he jostled the kid's head (the one where the kid fought back and got sued instead).

With all the unnecessary scenes going on (that makes the pace slower) makes me think is kim eun sook extending the drama??? jeng jeng! nah, just my wishful thinking..(but it sure looks like it!)

I agree with Mandy, the characters are more realistic, and their stories really do happen in real life, students who have crush on their
teacher, single mother working hard for her kids, kids who works part time to just to get by, and talk about bullies. At some point, we can all relate. Heirs feels more real than Secret. I just watch secret purely for entertainment, but the story is also so cliche, I'm just in it for the element of surprise.

It's Tuesday evening here and since we're on DST (Daylight Savings Time) i get to watch Heirs 1HR earlier!!! ke ke ke...now i have to be up by 445AM...aigooooooooooooooooooo....better than an hour later since i need to be at work by 8AM....

if they were going to make that the cliffhanger, why even tease the funs by releasing the pictures first? why? i don't get it, i really don't!!!

@Mandy: you're right, one of my gripes with Heirs is how there are scenes that are really really slow and we could have been better off WITHOUT certain scenes (like the scene where KT's dads' wife and KT's real mom were at the art gallery, why show that scene, it's a waste of time) when they could have been giving us more backstory of everyone's storyline....

i really wish that SG's PD was the same PD here, i'm sure it'll be a lot different when it comes to pacing the story....

anyways....like i said, the ending Kiss Scene better be Longer than 2 seconds...or i'll be super upset with the Heirs PD and production crew!!!!!!
