synopsis:
A classic melodrama involving betrayal, revenge, and romance. The story is about Kang Ma Roo (Song Joong Ki), who gave up everything for the woman (Park Si Yeon) he loves only to be betrayed by her. To get revenge on his ex-girlfriend, he uses her step-daughter and successor to Taesang Group, Seo Eun Gi (Moon Chae Won). Unfortunately, she suffers brain damage and loss of memory after a car accident, and now Kang Ma Roo works to fix everything that went awry because of his blind sighted revenge and ends up falling in love with Seo Eun Gi.

My Note: I came across this video from the past and found it very cute therefore thought to put it here. Song Joong ki has a voice and delivery that is beautiful to my ears. There is a softness and a gentleness that I find very pleasing. It's cultured. I wish he and Shinhye had worked in a project.......maybe once he comes back??? ...........May 2015 right now seems too far.

The controversy involving Korean celebrities serving in the military has once again resurfaced!

This time, it derived from the upcoming appearance of actor Song Joong Ki as an MC for a concert in China.

The National Forces” Culture and Arts Performance Group is set to hold a concert at the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing this week.

Private First Class Song Joong Ki was allowed to appear as the MC of the show. Corporal Lee Suk Hoon of SG Wannabe and Sergeant Kim Ho Kyung, also known as the singer Tei, were also allowed to perform at the concert.

Meanwhile, military officials have explained that the celebrities”participation is not a problem and that these soldiers” special skills are being employed for the greater good. The celebrity soldiers will not be granted any special privileges.

Song Joon Ki took his first vacation from the military service in 5 months... quietly with family and friends he has not seen for awhile... on January 10th this year. And went back to his military post the middle on January 22nd as reported by allkpop.

see what I mean... he does not make a splash or call media attention. He took his leave and spent quality time with family.

He is assigned with the 22nd Division search battalion.

He completed basic training and according to officials from the 22nd battalion, it's going well. His class grades were excellent. "Due to the nature of the search battalion, there are special classes that must be completed," said an official statement.

He graduated from basic training and then did some additional training. He will finish his military service in May of 2015.
