why is Song Joong Ki in Beijing, China?

South Korean Military will perform in China's Grand Theater in Beijing which is the country's largest theater. The opening will be a joint effort by South Korea and China to promote the ongoing relationships between the two countries. This will be the first foreign military troop performance.

South Korea and China were both in military talks June of last year and this time they will be performing Traditional Culture and Arts with the symphony orchestra of the Armed Forces bands and other famous singers.

Theme songs from the drama "Jewel", "The Moon that Embraces the Sun" and You Who Came from the Star" were also scheduled to be played.

In particular, South Korea's active duty soldiers- Actor Song Joong Ki, singer Lee Seok Hun and Kim Ho Kyung will be part on the said performance.
