Lee Min Ho and SNSD’s Yoona to team up for ‘EIDER’





Actor Lee Min Ho and SNSD’s Yoona have been chosen to be the new faces of French outdoor brand ‘EIDER Friends‘, following in the footsteps of their brand predecessors, Jang Hyuk and Chun Jung Myung.

It was said that the masculine and charismatic character Lee Min Ho portrayed through SBS’s ‘City Hunter‘ matched well with the challenging, yet professional image of the brand, while Yoona was chosen for not only her cheerful and sweet image, but also for her global star-like quality that was shown through her high popularity in Japan and Europe.

The two stars will participate in a photoshoot for the brand at the end of July, and will kick off the new season campaign with a shoot in Australia in the beginning of August. ‘EIDER Friends’ is currently working hard to prepare for the advertisement that will show Lee Min Ho and Yoona facing both challenges and adventure, which is scheduled to be released in September.

A representative from the brand stated, “‘EIDER’ received much love last season thanks to our models Jang Hyuk and Chun Jung Myung. We chose Lee Min Ho and Yoona as this season’s models in order to focus on consumers in their 20’s and 30’s who enjoy edgy and trendy styles. The two stars are stylish fashionistas and represent today’s younger population. We believe that they will be able to express the young and polished style of ‘EIDER’ very well.”

I was so excited to read that they will be coming to Australia to shoot for their ad but they dont say where and when exactly !!!! I would be in heaven if I could see him in real life !!!!!!

Recently Choe Seong Bong is attracting a lot of attention through Cable Channel tvN Korea’s Got Talent. YouTube measures the worldwide interest rate and Choe Seong Bong received over 10 million viewers.

However, there is another Korean celebrity who has exceeded more than five times Choe Seong Bong’s YouTube viewers. It is the lead actor of SBS “City Hunter,” Lee Min Ho.

In the Chinese website Youku, City Hunter reached total of nearly 50 million viewers for the released 17 episodes on June 22, and comments exceed well over 46 thousand.

This number is only for reviewers in Youku. If reviewers in other websites are taken into count, the reviewers could exceed 200 million. It is an amazing popularity.

As City Hunter grow more and more popular in China, Lee Min Ho’s popularity likewise increase. The number of comments that was posted up online since the start of the broadcasting of City Hunter now exceeds 10 million.

SBS' action series "City Hunter" proved to be no competition once again as it claimed the title of the most-watched television show in the country for the fourth week in a row.

Data from TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Friday reported that "City Hunter," starring Lee Min-ho and Park Min-young, scored an average viewership rating of 18.3 percent, revealing an increase of almost one percent compared to the previous week.

However, figures released by AGB Nielsen Media Research showed that "Hunter" brought in an average mark of 19.1, posting a slight drop of 0.5 percentage points from the previous week.

This week's episode focused on how Yoon-sung (Lee Min-ho) saved his adoptive father Jin-pyo (Kim Sang-joong) from a dangerous situation.

KBS' new series "The Princess' Man," starring Park Si-hoo and Moon Chae-won, has taken off to a good start since first airing on Wednesday with viewership ratings in the eight to ten percent range.

Meanwhile, MBC's "Heartstrings" dragged behind with ratings in the five percent range.

Hi Minoz fans

Siiigghhh....so sad, CH is coming to an end this week. I can't believe it's already been 2.5 months. I still remember the time when this series was being advertised and we were hoping Shin Hye would get the part of Kim NaNa and now it's over! What am I going to do? Ottokaje?!!!

Anyways, I am hoping for a satisfying end and that YS and NN can get together. Please please please....neither of you don't die!!!

Seems like the twist is that YS is the Prez's son. Sorry for the spoiler for those who have not seen it. I really wonder how they will resolve this issue with 2 chapters left. I wish they would extend the series a bit more.

I think the Prosecutor will not expose YS because I think he understands that City Hunter is like Robin Hood. He is fighting for the good people. He is just frustrated that he still hasn't figured out the identity of City Hunter and just wants to confirm it. Seriously, there is no way the Prosecutor could figure out YS' identity unless he let him. YS is always one step ahead.

Anyways, I am just ranting here because I am currently in withdrawal syndrome of CH. At least there is still Heartstrings. LMH really deserves top male excellence award for this series as does PMY. Also, I hope they win for best couple award too. Really really want another kiss scene between the two since it's lacking in this area.

"City Hunter" disguise props are one-of-a-kind





A chronology of the various disguises that Lee Yoonsung (played by Lee Minho) used in the SBS drama "City Hunter" has been revealed, drawing interest from fans.

Currently in its last leg, the said drama -- as well as the manga it is based on -- has a protagonist who employs various props to keep his identity a secret. These run the gauntlet from masks to bandanas. Even spectacles are used in his disguises, making actor Lee Minho look like a Hollywood actor.

Said a representative from Lee Minho's agency: "As the drama went on, the role demanded the use of disguises like spectacles, hats and masks. In the 18th episode, particularly, there is a tense moment when the City Hunter's identity is revealed. He uses a leather mask there that a stylist custom reformed from a motorbike mask to fit Lee Minho. It is the only one in the world."

Meanwhile, "City Hunter" will end its run on July 28th.

Sis Mandy im in the same mode as you and not wanting CH to end, want YS and NN to be together and want to find out how they are going to tie up all ends in 2 chapters! At the end of Ep 18 I think YS wanted the Prosecutor to find out he is CH else he wouldnt have let him rip the mask off ! I hope that they will end up on the same side and solve crimes together in CH 2

To combat my withdrawal symptoms I have been watching the BTS and fanvids and love these ones....the first one makes me cry....
