Lee Min Ho meets SNSD’s Yoona for a commercial





After the end of the City Hunter, Lee Min Ho is having a new experience.

Lee Min Ho is selected as a representative for an outdoor brand ‘Eider’. On July 31, Lee Min Ho met SNSD’s Yoona at a studio in Seoul for the shooting.

Lee Min Ho’s previous partners in dramas, including, Gu Hye Sun (KBS2′s Boys over Flowers), Son Ye Jin (MBC’s Personal Taste), and Park Min Young (City Hunter) were all small comparing to Lee Min Ho’s 187cm tall height. Yoona is 166cm tall but she still had to put an insole inside of her shoes. On the 8th, they will fly to LA to shoot a TV commercial. They are practicing rock climbing for the commercial.

Lee Min Ho also renewed his contract with other companies and has been working as a representative for 2 or 3 years. He is also thinking about signing a contract with Chinese clothing company.

Lee Min Ho will meet his fans in foreign countries. On the 20th, he will meet Korean fans and go to Japan for 3 days and meet around 2,500 Japanese fans in Tokyo on the 23rd. Then he will go to Indonesia and China.

Lee Min Ho Gets 400,000 More Chinese Fans after End of “City Hunter”




The number of Lee Min Ho’s fans in China has been growing at an exponential rate lately, especially following the end of his hit drama, “City Hunter.”

According to local media, Lee Min Ho saw the number of followers on his “Weibo” account, which is China’s equivalent of Twitter, increase a staggering 400,000 to a total of 1.3 million after “City Hunter” ended last week. This has led to a spike in his merchandise sales as well, Chinese local media reported, as it said, “Lee Min Ho not only has become China’s biggest pop icon, but the suit and every clothing item he wore on ‘City Hunter’ has been selling out like ‘crazy.’”

Also, Chinese fans have been making persistent calls for Lee Min Ho’s concert in China. The fans have been uploading actual video clips of Lee Min Ho’s Taiwan concert held in 2009, urging the star actor to do something similar in China as well.

Chinese media credit Lee Min Ho’s massive popularity to the success of “City Hunter.” More than 300 million people watched the show online already, and there are talks that “City Hunter” has surpassed the popularity of MBC’s 2003 megahit drama “Dae Jang Geum.” With Lee Min Ho’s popularity ever so growing in China, all eyes are now on whether he would become as big a pop icon as some of the Korean female stars in the past, such as Kim Hee Sun, Lee Young Ae, Jun Ji Hyun, and Song Hye Kyo.

CH cannot be promoted without Min Young!!! Yeah, I can't believe that Min Young is already casted in another series. She will have done 1 film and 2 dramas this year. Big year for our Kim Nana!

Lee Minho and SNSD's Yoona practice rock climbing for Eider





Girls' Generation member Yoona is confirmed to be flying to Los Angeles for a photoshoot for an outdoor brand. Previously, Yoona was scheduled to fly to Australia with Lee Minho to film endorsement shots and videos for the brand Eider, but they were cancelled due to severe weather conditions.

The two are set to rock climb at a famous mountain region for the outdoor brand and are confirmed to have prepared for the last month. Despite her busy schedule, Yoona is reported to have been practicing for almost a month at an indoor rock climbing facility in Seoul, South Korea. Recently, all members of the group were given a short vacation after finishing their complete tour in Japan, and Yoona is said to have dedicated her time to the sport in order to prepare for the shoot.

Due to severe climate changes, the shoot has been transferrred for a mountain climbing spot in the States. However, the two only managed to practice together on the second of this month due to conflicts on their schedules. A professional rock climber along with a safety staff are confirmed to assist the two on the actual shoot.

Meanwhile, a photo of Yoona's practice was uploaded on the group's fancafe and has been gaining attention since then. Someone who saw Yoona practice left a comment saying, "While SNSD is probably very busy, Yoona looked like she had rock-climbed before. I think she had enough skills to rock-climb outside without much problem."

Anyways sis, I just wanted to clarify the ending of CH with you. I don't know if you read the article from allkpop, but there was one confirming that the ending was a "happy" ending -- happy in that Yoon Sung did not die at the end. Nana WAS NOT hallucinating. The producers said the Yoon Sung met up with Nana after an unspecified amount of time had passed after he sustained that gunshot wound to the heart. The fact that Yoon Sung made it back alive was happy - he fulfilled his promise to Nana.

Therefore, I still don't understand why the mom and Ajusshi are going to the States but here is my postulation. Mom, Ajusshi, Nana - the 3 most important people in Yoon Sung's life - is going to the States to visit Yoon Sung but instead, Yoon Sung can't wait and comes back first because he wants to see Nana. Perhaps he is in the States recovering.

Booo...I am still dissatisfied though...no kiss, hug, ring or even a saranghanda!!!
