Lee Min Ho Selected as ‘The Most Kissable’ Actor in Thailand

In a recent Valentine’s special poll taken by a Thai-Korean magazine The Bridges, Lee Min Ho won the title in both ‘the most wanted actor for a date on Valentine’s day’ and ‘the most kissable actor chosen by Thai girls.’

The actor has been peaking in his popularity in the country since he starred in Boys Over Flowers, City Hunter and the recent hit The Heirs.
In the poll asking ‘which Korean actor do you want to kiss on Valentine’s day,’ Lee Min Ho took 19% of the votes, beating out Hyun Bin, who received 16%, followed by Kim Woo Bin, Song Joong Ki, Jang Keun Suk and Kim Soo Hyun.

Meanwhile, Lee Min Ho recently returned to Korea after filming a commercial in New Zealand, and will be preparing to start filming Gangnam Blues.

@Mandy, no news on LMH's leading lady for his new action noir movie "Gangnam Blues".

Only other confirmed actor was Kim Rae-won.

It was reported sometime in December that filming will begin in March 2014 and is slated to be in theaters in late 2014. Yoo Ha as the Director (who is known from his previous films, lots of action, loaded with noir). The film is set in 1970s Seoul, time when the Gangnam district was all about real estate and construction boom, all the questionable power plays by the corrupt, their backroom dealings, thugs and dirty politicians come to play.

Actor Lee Min Ho’s appearance on the Chinese CCTV’s “New Year Gala” recorded the highest ratings.

According to Lee Min Ho’s agency on February 11, “Lee Min Ho’s appearance on the Chinese CCTV ‘New Year Gala,’ singing ‘Qing Fei De Yi,’ the opening song for the Taiwanese drama ‘Meteor Garden,’ recorded 9.65% in ratings. The broadcast was aired on 202 different channels simultaneously which totals up to 70.99% in ratings.”

On the day of the broadcast, the number of people connecting to CCTV’s website increased dramatically as Lee Min Ho’s appearance on the show approached. It was to the point where the servers began buffering. Weibo and other Chinese SNS sites were flooded with Lee Min Ho’s name, and the actor was ranked No. 1 on various Chinese search engines.

After his successful appearance on the show, Lee Min Ho expressed, “It was fun and an honor,” through his agency.
