Korean rock band FTIsland performed at a live concert in Japan over the weekend, according to their agency FNC Music on Monday.
A press release by FNC said that FTIsland took to the stage at Odaiba of Japan for Fuji TV's "Mezamashi Live" on August 7, where they performed in front of 10,000 fans.
The five-member band wooed the crowd with their latest single "LET IT GO," "Flower Rock," "Brand-new days" and "Boom Boom Boom."
Recently, FTIsland wrapped up with month-long Japan tour titled "2011 SUMMER TOUR~Messenger~" where they visited several cities such as Osaka, Tokyo and Fukuoka.
The boys are currently preparing for their Korea concert titled "PLAY FTISLAND" which will take place in Seoul for two days starting August 20.
Composed of members Lee Hong-ki, Song Seung-hyun, Choi Min-han, Lee Jea-jin and Choi Jong-hoon, FTIsland released their first album "Cheerful Sensibility" in 2007.
They expanded their career into Japan in 2008 with single albums “Flower Rock” which was placed at No. 4 on the daily chart and their fourth Japanese single "SATISFACTION," released in late April this year, came in second place with on the weekly singles chart.
Their first full-length album "FIVE TREASURE ISLAND" was the biggest hit, debuting at No. 1 on Oricon’s daily chart, after selling over 37,000 copies during its first week of going on sale and making it the first time in Oricon history for an international male artists’ first full-length release to reach the No. 1 spot on the weekly chart.
