These surveys are really dependant on who and how many are being asked..... For me the important thing is that it reflects the popularity of the star. Here, Shinhye is the one of the only two pure actresses among all the idols.

With Shinhye's multiple interests and laid back personality with a great sense of humour......it's not surprising that she is a person everyone wants to be friends. She is also a very loyal friend. Eg she stood by Seungri, Tara's Eun Jung(?) etc when they had become part of scandal.....
I would love to be her friend too.


I think it's the first time that Shinhye has made the Forbes list for Korea. More power and success to her in the coming years...

The so-called freedom, is to be hated by others.
If someone hates you, that’s because you have utilized your freedom, marking down the direction of how you want your life to be

Why have human been not able to change?
Why can’t we get rid of inferiority complex?
Why do we always live under someone else’s expectations?
Why can’t we feel truly happy?
Perhaps that’s because, we lack the courage to be hated!

A young man came to the hut of a philosopher.
When he heard of the philosopher advocated that “The world is very simple, everyone can be happy”, he resolved to overthrow this fallacy.
This world is obviously complicated and messy, how is it simple?
If happiness is really obtained so easily, why is he living in such a painful state?

They started giving their thoughts and debate.
The young man initially thought the philosopher is just a stupid old man who is ignorant of the reality,
But night after night, the young man falls deep in thought “What exactly is this World like?”
“The so-called freedom, is just to be hated by others” said the philosopher.
How so? How would anyone want to be hated by someone else?
If wish to have true freedom, why do we still have to be hated by others?
This world, it’s actually simple or complex? Can we actually be happy in the end?...

The question is not what “The World” looks like, but what “You” looks like.

Since the day she posted that quote from 'Courage to be Hated' I've been interested in the book, too bad you can only find it in korean but anyway, here's a little glimpse of what the book is about and the lessons you can learn as you read. It looks like a great book for those who are seeking ways to grow and mature; offering a broader perspective of how to relate to oneself, others and the world.
