Although, only two of his friends showed up (plus of course his first love), his friend's stories about him, the picture of a young Taec ( you could immediately tell it was him because of his smile and his favorite pose of two peace signs) he showed and of course, that one of a kind performance of "Heartbeat" were I think the highlights of the show.

I wonder how Taec was still able to keep in touch with his childhood friends when he spent seven years in Boston after moving to Seoul on his fourth grade. You could tell that they kept in contact as Taec knew that he was studying music and of course, the exam which he was trolled The proverb "birds of the same feather flock together" sure does apply to Taec and his friends. They are all funny. Even his high school friend who appeared in the Human Condition episode was so funny and also not afraid to look goofy

And of course, we cannot ignore the video of his "first love" She is cute and based on Taec's smile, you could tell he was happy to see her. And I think he trumped Wooyoung with the way he handled the situation of meeting their first loves. WY said the girl was pretty but was prettier then, while Taec's smile and his "you have grown cuter" of course would make the girl feel flattered. And Taec just coolly told the girl to leave her number with his friend for them to contact each other and they would meet later as old friends. His ways were smooth like butter

I think the giving of the ring ( though without his mum's permission) and him waiting for a long time outside the girl's door because he sorely missed her showed he is such a romantic Makes you wonder, why he was not that smooth when it comes to dealing with Shin Hye, he's more like a goofball with his feet floating on air when he was with her

2PM scored another endorsement for Tony Moly. This makes it 3 skin care endorsements for Taec along with SK-II and Khiel's. I don't blame them because his face barely has any flaws. He even looks better without makeup. haha


Also, I saw some fancams of Taec at Seoul Fashion Week watching a runway show and he looked bored. As expected from someone who has absolutely no interest in fashion. haha

Hi sis@avrylle19 sorry for not replying to your post. Just got busy with something in life we all call "work".
Have you finished Wonderful Days, it's my second viewing and in ep 39 where Donghui (Taecyeon's character) is about to move out. I really can see the kind of dilemma a person might feel being torn between the woman who raised him and his birth mother. Taecyeon's acting is not overly dramatic. One can see both the hesitation and the frustration brought about the character's situation. That was a difficult role and he played it just right, angry if he had to with matching outbursts. But also compliant when his older brother Dongtak gives him a word or two. Sympathetic toward his birth mother for being a "pariah" and dolefully affectionate to his "mom". I also like the scene where in the midst of his confusing situation he tells quite matter-of-factly to his two children that they had to leave the house, and then hugs them. "I am really feeling rotten so just hug me for 10 minutes" (or something like that).
Sorry about your query regarding the Jose Marie Chan I've got to view that episode closely. May I know how you became familiar with Jose Marie Chan? Do you like to listen to him, he has a nice voice and he composes well. Let me check out that scene and will share my thoughts.
Meantime our Oksunbong farmer bingu is in Japan again.
I believe this is his fourth trip there this month but only their 3rd week of performance (one more week to go). The first trip I think was a brief one to check out the venue or do some promotion?

Ah there's the news also about Taecyeon signing for army service in 2017. Am glad they made the announcement now. We have time to prepare, and so does Taecyeon. Shall we hold a rally in front of JPE office? "Five new dramas please to cover every year he is away, and a reality cooking show IN THE ARMY SERVICE itself with Taecyeon himself being head chef. Ha! Ha! How about that PD Na?
Uh-oh they have to retitle it. Three Meals and Marches a day.
Judging from the video clips about meeting up with an old friend/classmate in Busan how Taecyeon almost cut his friend's life short because of his natural curiosity about moving things, we can already imagine Taecyeon will do daring stuff in his duty. It's his wiggly energy that has made him enjoy all that dancing prancing on stage all these years. Perhaps it's that inherent energy that made him forego medical school (am I right?) to undergo training for JYP (oops! Is it JPE or JYP? Mianhe sisters for the slip)
PD Na has that acute keenness to want to "expose" or better yet unravel the true Taecyeon persona outside his 2PM image by choosing him for the 3MAD show. And I say PD Na made a wise selection. He couldn't have chosen a better guy. Taecyeon made the show worth "enduring" despite the unusual setting and "script" ("all you need to do is cook 3 meals a day").
Uh-oh my fingers have run ahead again. Sorry sisters for long post.

Like you sis@journoexpat I prefer the natural black hair. He looks more "elegant" with that. Ah but he looks good whatever he wears hair or shirt or pants/shorts or slippers/shoes. It's the inner positive persona that actually comes out of his eyes and his smiles that makes him look good no matter the attire and other fashion or get-up he wears.

I think many of us will hang around this site and this forum for the next 4 or 5 years. I bet even if our bingu goes to army service we'll not lack anything to talk about. Someone like sis@stannis will probably dig up and resurrect old video clips of Taecyeon if only to keep us delighted and amused.
It'll be interesting to see what army service does to Taecyeon, if he "ages" a bit from the hard life and hard work. I'm curious to see if the funny happy-go-lucky rapper returns with a more steady "calmer" somber persona and demeanor having probably learned a lot of real-life lessons. He'll be a more manly man i think and may then decide to propose marriage to someone...
I wonder if he'd complete his graduate business degree before he leaves for army duty.
Ah but ya'll might say "sis@fgnuva, that's more than a year from now, too early to even imagine".
I guess am just thinking aloud.
