Kim Hyun Joong to hold a Philippine Tour this August!





For a while now there has been a rumor speculating around that K-Pop Idol, Kim Hyun Joong will be coming back to the Philippines. Well get ready, folks! The rumor is true! A few days ago, PolyEast Records confirmed it to the delight of fans. For those who are not aware of who he is, Kim Hyun Joong is a former member of DSP Entertainment‘s popular idol group, SS501. For a while now, the members of SS501 have been focused on their individual activities. As some already know, Kim Hyun Joong has been popular for acting in the popular drama, “Boys over Flowers” and taking the lead role in the drama, “Playful Kiss”. He already came to see his Filipino fans before alongside idol group, B2ST for the event “P-Pop Meets K-Pop”. Now this handsome guy will be coming back to the Philippines to promote his album.

The event will be this coming August 25, 2011. Attendees just need to buy a CD (500 stocks only) during the event. The venue as of now hasn’t been revealed. This event has been made possible by PolyEast Records, KeyEast, CJ E&M and MYX.

Kim Hyun Joong Earned $100K Working Part-time Before Debut!






Known as Yonsama II (Bae Yong Joon), Kim Hyun Joong will reveal that he earned nearly $100K working various part-time jobs before his debut as a celebrity in the upcoming episode of SBS E!TV’s“Star Q10.” In the episode, he will talk about his past part-time jobs, as well as his chicken restaurant that he and his friends currently operate together. Kim Hyun Joong actively endorses the restaurant himself, appearing in its flyers and ads. The singer-actor has earned a lot of money, and he’s spent as much, doing Good Samaritan deeds like donating to those affected by the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan early this year.

Kim Hyun Joong will also address his funny relationships with celeb friends Lee Seung Gi and DBSK’s Yunho. He addresses Seung Gi, who’s a year younger, as a friend and Yunho, who’s only four months older, hyung (older brother). He explained that he needs to sponge off anyone who’s older, albeit even a day older, than he.

Singer-actor Kim Hyun-joong will promote a new song from his album starting this week, according to his agency KEYEAST on Monday.

A press release by KEYEAST stated that Kim will giveis first performance of "Kiss Kiss" on cable music channel Mnet's weekly program "M! CountDown" on Thursday.

This will make it the second song after "Break Down," a powerful south urban-style dance number that topped music charts for several weeks, that he will promote from his album of the same name released in early June.

However, "Kiss Kiss" will be a cheerful pop dance tune through which Kim will express how he feels towards his fans, KEYEAST explained through the statement.

Kim, 25, made his debut as the leader of the popular boy band SS501 in 2005 who became a household name throughout Asia after starring in KBS’ smash hit series “Boys Over Flowers” in 2009.

The members of his group went separate ways last summer however, although not disbanding, after their contract with DSP Media expired and Kim newly signed with KEYEAST.

"Break Down" is the first album that Kim has released as a solo artist.

Kim Hyun Joong is bringing another sensation with his song, “Kiss Kiss” after “Break Down.”

After the fabulous return performance of his first single Break Down, Kim chose the song “Kiss Kiss” as a follow-up of “Break Down.” The song goes well with summer in its cheerful rhythm.

Kim’s agency Keyeast says, “The song “Kiss Kiss” will show another side of Kim Hyun Joong, which is completely different from “Break Down.” Its sweet lyrics are for his fans. He is now ready to perform the song, and we are looking forward to your support.”

Kim showed his charisma through the song “Break Down,” while the fans are curious of his new side in “Kiss Kiss.”

Singer-actor Kim Hyun-joong will kick off his Asia tour next month, according to his agency KEYEAST.

An official from KEYEAST told 10Asia over the phone that Kim will be visiting several countries in Asia to promote his album “Break Down” and take part in interviews with the local media outlets starting with Japan in early August.

"He will also be touring a total of eight countries including Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan and Singapore till the end of the month," the official added.

Making his debut as the lead of the popular boy band SS501, Kim has returned to the local music scene as a solo artist with his first album "Break Down" and has topped online and offline music charts with the title track of the same name.

He will begin promoting his follow up track "Kiss Kiss" with his performance on cable music channel Mnet's weekly program "M! CountDown" this Thursday.

Kim Hyun Joong is visiting Singapore for the second time within a year for his Asia Tour! According to The Face Shop, Kim Hyun Joong will be visiting Singapore from 17th to 19th August to promote his new album Break Down as well as The Face Shop. ‘Asia Tour with Kim Hyun Joong’ also includes Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines.

A notice on Kim's official webpage revealed that the "Kiss Kiss" music video will be uploaded onto his official YouTube channel and website at noon today.

"Kiss Kiss," the follow-up track from Kim's album "Break Down," is a cheerful pop dance tune which expresses his feelings towards fans.

He is set to give his performance of his latest song on cable music channel Mnet's weekly program "M! CountDown" tomorrow.
