About the bus, I don't think it gives free ride because I remember seeing the same for an actor's birthday but I think it was only for a week that the bus carried his pics.

The birthday bus is just like a promotional bus or a giant billboard where you will buy space for ads. But I think this one is doubly expensive because the bus is just carrying just pictures of Taec and the birthday messages for the entire month (?). Meaning the Chinese fans paid all the ad spaces available on the entire bus just to carry his photos. I know that the sides, front and back ad spaces of the bus have different prices. I wonder if Taec photos were also posted inside the bus. The fans must have paid a hefty sum to do this.

Fans these days are becoming active in helping others too sis@fgnuva, if you remember during the press conference of Taec's "Assembly" there were several long lines of rice wreaths sent by his fans from all over the world at the venue. I think for that particular event, more than 2 or 20 tonnes ( not so sure) were collected and were given to orphanages and elderly homes. So instead of flowers, they donate sacks of rice to be given to charity.

I don't know if 2PM has the same, but I remember reading in a Korean English newspaper that Shinhwa's fans have dedicated another forest to the group, meaning fans planted trees and will take care of them.

However, I know Taec will be working on his birthday as 2PM will appear on SBS year-end show.

I also saw the Lotte commercial, based on fans' comment, the commercial is a mishmash of old and new videos. I think 2PM video is rather old as you can see the hairstyles of the members, particularly of Taec's, are different from the styles their sporting now. The news ones I think are from Kim Soo Hyun ( I hope I got his name correct, I am not a fan and has not seen a single drama of his, just a few episodes of "Dream High" which I watched because of Taec and EXO and perhaps the other actors. I did not even recognize LMH, he looked different, did he lose weight ? I think him and KSH are going after for a more mature look these days, from the hairstyles to the clothes.

For Shin Hye's part, I think it was a mixed bag of old and new. But she was sparkling in all the shots:0

The last part is just a collage of all the artistes and definitely were not taken on the same day. I wonder, if we will able to see Taec and Shin Hye in the same event and how will they interact?

After seeing the Bolivia documentary, I got into thinking that its child labor issues are so diverse that a one-time help would not be able to resolve it.There are children making a living off the street : shoeshine boys, girls selling pastries, newspaper boys and those cleaning tombs inside the cemeteries, and of course, kids working in construction sites, kids in the mining sites, kids who are cow herders etc. they have different issues as some have contracts and some do not. For the Tanzania volunteer work, Taec came to help install lights and find safe and convenient source of water to a remote community and the result were instant as they were able to do so.But I don't think there is an overnight solution for the Bolivia issue.

No am not on vacation yet but am working hard to get there. All my deadlines are this Friday so it forces me to finish everything by Friday midnight. I have to turn in my grades. And luckily we do it online. (if I can't beat the deadline then I'll just have to do the task of marking as best I can asap - it's mostly research papers ugh!) there could be a stern warning but ah it'll be the first time.

As for Kim Soo-Hyun since he's buddy with Taecyeon owing to their Dream High days I took interest in him - just for his dramatic talent, and the guy CAN and DOES act. That's what I saw in Moon Embracing...
In Dream High you've got to admire how by training for a few months with JYP made him look like a seasoned dancer and singer. Next to Taecyeon he's probably going to be a good artist to follow. Ah my bias, don't pay attention to me...i don't even know why I should mention him here..mianhe sisters.
Have you seen my latest posts of Taecyeon sleeping (again!) and the article about Taecyeon being voted by a women's mag I think as "Son of the Year"? Ha! Ha! Is that serious? Did the ladies really cast their votes for such a title?
Ah i suppose why not? If Time always selects a man/woman/person of the year, why not a "son of the year"?
I wonder is there an awarding ceremony and will our Mr Sunshine get a trophy a plaque or what? Ha! Ha! That should be fun!
What is more interesting would be to know what criteria they used and what evidences were examined for them to decide Taecyeon should be named as such.

Thanks for the pics of a sleeping Taec sis I think it came from one of the earlier variety shows 2PM was part of and they commonly wake up the idols to see their bare faces and how they react for being awaken from their sound sleep. I remember in one of the variety shows not this one, it took awhile for the host to wake up Taec and he even wore his glasses after waking up ( just like what he did at TMAD) but the comments were so funny as fans gushed over how "handsome", "cute" and "hot" he looked even with his bed hair and nerdy glasses But aren't we familiar with that kind of face, every morning when got out of bed at TMAD to feed Minky, Jackson, Pearl and Diamond and then later on including Sappy and Eddy; and then to cook breakfast. All of these sometimes even before he was able to brush his teeth and to wash his face

And for the award, he truly deserves it no matter what criteria were used ( sounding so bias ). So he is the "Son of the Year" for that magazine and "Future-son-in-law" for the Knetizens Not bad for Taec, but I bet he wants to be the "Cook of the Year"

I have a scheduled workshop to attend in Japan in March but 2PM will be in Thailand for a concert, so no luck in seeing Taec in Japan

Anyway, Taec and the rest of the 2PM will be appearing for the SBS Gayo on December 27, not sure if they will performing for KBS and MBC as the previous schedules were stricken off from their calendar by JYP, any of our sisters have info on this ?

Funny am just curious about Producers and started watching last night. In Ep 2, the female lead mentions 3MAD and they kind of downgrade the show as not being popular. But I think there was a time when 3MAD almost gave them a fright on the ratings. Oh how we miss that show!
