I have watched Taec's and 2PM's video before they started their fan meet where they played basketball and I can say that he was really supportive of his group members. In that video, they sort of described themselves.... and when it was Nickhun turn,he just said his name, so Taec described him as "the hottest man" and for himself, he was described as the "eternal kindergartener" since he wore one of his socks down while the other was pulled up, he said he used to wear his socks like that when he was in kindergarten. I also noticed that when Taec is not with his members and is only with his manager, he will always be at the front seat of the vehicle. So he will be seating next to his manager who is driving and not at the back seat, I think that is so nice of him, doing that for his manager's sake  Thanks for these tidbits of information sis @journoexpat... welcome back by the way. Yes, Taecyeon can easily pass for the "National Son-in-law" just by looking at how courteous, polite and well-mannered. Is it considered "good" if a person eats heartily a meal served him/her? I thought he was in such great hurry during the entire filming... In fact I think right around the time the third dish was finishing up, he was signaled that he had to go... He ate so hastily... stuffing his mouth with food.. ha! ha! I thought he was probably just so hungry. But it's amazing that in that short span of time, he was able to help cook 3 dishes I think... Watch how he would look at what I think was a recipe book or chart with the lady host... and he'd keep on turning the food in the skillet, even without looking. And as he was leaving, he bowed oh so many times and left the room walking backward.... Is that the Korean style of showing respect? I saw that too in a couple of scenes in "My Princess" (Kim Tae-hee &Song Seung-heon). |

Ok Taec-yeon’s event to celebrate Christmas
 Ok Taec-yeon of K-pop boy group 2PM will hold Christmas events. According to JYP Entertainment, the 27-year-old singer’s agency, the Christmas events will be held on Dec. 24 and 25. During the event, Ok will sing “Okcat Song,” composed and written by the singer-actor. Okcat is a character created by Ok. The singer registered a trademark for the cat character in 2013 and has been producing diverse products from stuffed dolls to pouches and indoor slippers. Ok’s Christmas events will be held at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve and at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Christmas Day at JBK Convention Hall in Samseong-dong, southern Seoul. Taecyeon, Lee Hye-jung cook on ‘My Little Television’  (MBC) Taecyeon from K-pop boy band 2PM is set to appear on MBC variety show, “My Little Television,” to be aired Saturday, where he will assist one of the regulars, Lee Hye-jung. The food specialist previously appeared on variety show “Three Meals a Day” and gave Taecyeon some cooking advice. In return, Taecyeon decided to help Lee broadcast her show on demonstrating how to cook. In the episode to be aired Friday, Taecyeon makes a surprise visit to Lee’s broadcasting room in the middle of the show, according to the production crew. “My Little Television” airs every Saturday at 11:15 p.m. on MBC. Sis @yummiejeu thanks for posting OkCat event ad. I noticed his hair has been styled like he had curls kind of showing his fun soft side which is suitable for the products made I think especially to attract kids. In the My Little TV cooking show his hair was stiff like it's been gelled to place not a single strand standing ha! ha! As befits a cooking show.
But Taecyeon is Taecyeon he looks good no matter what hair clothing and facial expression he wears. (I'm being biased here... LOL) |

Sisters did anyone catch that little bit about OkCat's girlfriend? I read a post about Taecyeon excited about OkCat's gf. Funny... But kind of interesting how Taecyeon's company will play up this girlfriend thing. It'll be cute!
Kind of ingenious too! OkCat needs a female companion a.k.a. "girlfriend" ... Just like his beast idol bingu farmer cook creator... Ahaha! Whoever thought about this girlfriend thing is wise and creative... It'll add more products and put a new face in the company ergo more income. That is so wise... And maybe when the bingu creator himself gets married and has children they'll add OkCat children too huh? (Shhhh... This is something that the creators of Hello Kitty and Barbie Doll didn't think of.. Oh but Barbie has Ken though... They don't have children, they hadn't gotten married, Ken and Barbie, have they? Am talking about the dolls of course... Those who are familiar with Sesame Street characters Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy called it quits after years of being together ha! ha! So even puppets go dating. Why not our OkCat? So it'll be interesting to see who this girlfriend is. I wonder will it be a cat also? Or a pup? As cute as Eddy or his mom Minky when she first came to the 3MAD house in Oksunbong? Remember how Minky made friends with the neighbor's cat who eventually stole one of the fish Taecyeon was going to cook? OkCat and ParkPup....ooops! Am shipping again. Mianhe sisters. Good afternoon ladies! Got a little bit bored doing my training modules for new reporters, so decided to drop by for a bit and post that translated article about Taec.
I feel so happy for Taec because of all the good feedback he's been receiving I think sis@fgnuva is the one who is wondering whether he is Christian, I think he is because, I have three of their albums and for his dedication, he always put God first for the honor of releasing the album. And I remember that somewhere in this thread, there was a twitter conversation with one of his friends where he asked whether they still attend or do Bible verses recital or memorization ( not so sure about this) before they start a meal or a program (?). |
